Bass Pro’s Site Rivers Fish House lives up to the hype! The Grilled and Blackened Walleye is amazing. I had the pick two grilled and blackened with Walleye & White Fish. Cheese Curds and Fish Dip both solid. Wife had grilled Mahi Mahi. Our server Ms. Stafanie did a great job providing excellent service to my wife and I. The view from our table, over looking the river, was awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the Branson area.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you want decent service. The bartender was the only one with a personality and she was nice. I will absolutely not come back. We requested tarter sauce with our appetizers and we are "still" waiting. Wait staff would drop the food on the table and run until it was time to give you the bill. They were literally no where to be found. Our gater bites and calamari were overcooked so they were very rubbery, crab cakes were cooked just under "black" in sear. We originally planned to enjoy drinks, appetizers and a meal but with what we saw we skipped the actual meal and found another restaurant. We brought our drinks from the bar to our table. We were never offered to order more drinks. I swear people were just there for a check because customer service was not a thought. They were so short staffed that we had to wait about 25 minutes for a table for 5. They had 6 tables with customers once we were seated and 2 were seated just before us. Our table and all chairs were dirty and sticky. I asked to have it cleaned but it took several minutes for someone to offer us a towel to do it ourselves. By then we decided to clean it ourselves enough to sit. I am absolutely blown away by the lack of customer service provided. This is absolutely not what Johnny Morris would find acceptable. When we were being seated a family with children were leaving. The staff removed their dishes, but never wiped the table, chairs or cleaned up the liquid on the floor. I just read in the description on Google, it says complimentary jalapeño corn bread. Nope, didnt get that either.

The hostess was less than helpful when we walked in with a large party. My father in law had called when we we're on our way (15mins away). He was told they'd have a table ready for us. When we all walked in, they said it would be a 40min wait. When he questioned & said we called ahead & were told they'd have a table set up, she rudely said, well, we got busy. I was holding my sleeping 2 year old & asked if I could sit at one of the many vacant smaller tables they had while we waited. They said yes, but then proceeded to seat people there making me get up not long after sitting there myself. There were several other tables available they could have seated the other people at. I feel like they could have handled the whole situation better, just being apologetic would have been something. Once we got seated, our waiter was great but the food was just okay, especially for the price we spent. Definitely not going back.

I go to thousands of restaurants and rate them. This place was one of the best I've been to. Not only was the food great (and I'm a picky guy)but it was clean and the service was awesome. My server was Liz and she was the best server I've ever had. Professional and friendly and very attentive to my needs. If I could rate this place a 10 I would. Every one needs to try this restaurant.

A Seamless Stream of Service and Flavor at White River Fish House Our server Tracey was truly exceptional—professional and intentional, a presence both refined and wonderfully kind. With his poised professionalism and prompt, polished presence, he embodied the kind of service that makes you feel both pampered and perfectly at ease, delighted and at peace. Tracey listened, he suggested, he anticipated—with insight and foresight, with warmth that felt genuine and innate. Throughout the meal, Tracey ensured that everything flowed seamlessly, like a gentle stream with a steady gleam. He appeared just when we needed him—never hovering, never wavering, never vanishing into the distance—always arriving at exactly the right moment, with timing so precise it felt almost like a pleasant surprise. Tracey’s exceptional, courteous service speaks volumes—tones of excellence clearly shown—and reflects the thoughtful training he received from manager Daval, whose standards are not only high but elegantly set to the sky, shaping service that soars and never runs dry. Final Thoughts: The White River Fish House is a place to linger, laugh, and long to return—a charming retreat, warm and sweet, where every visit feels like a rare and memorable treat.
