If visiting Branson from out of town I would highly recommend adding this to the list. Not a large chain or celebrity restaurant (from the looks of it) - and it’s quite charming.
The restaurant sits along the water with great views, with the interior having an old school dock charm. Service was kind and efficient. Did the food blow me away? No. It stays in its lane. But I’m glad we ate there to have experienced it!
Edit: Guess this place is owned by Bass Pro based on other reviews!

Liz our waitress was fantastic and Susan at the front desk was very helpful. The food was delicious and the potions were very generous. Everyone was so nice I thought we were at home celebrating my wife’s 73 Birthday and my granddaughter’s graduation from High School. See you again very soon! Even Mr & Mrs Santa Clause sang Happy Birthday with us in May.

Server very polite and attentive, checked on status frequently. Decor and lake view entertaining. . Variety of food options and sufficient serving portion sizes but heavy on seasoning and breading/batter overwhelming the seafood itself. Butter knife dirty. Seat had food residue crumbs from prior customers. Easily could have improved ratings.

Cynthia, the hostess, is an absolute hoot—she clearly loves her job and is a wonderful ambassador for Ozarks hospitality. She set a great tone for the visit.
The food, however, was just slightly above average. The Islamorada fish sandwich came on a monster bun and with horrid melted cheese on top. Fries were tasty: small and crisp. I ordered a Bloody Mary “not spicy,” but it came out very spicy. When I asked about it, I was told they use a premix, and the only way to make it “not spicy” is to skip the seasoning on the rim—which wasn’t particularly helpful.
I also asked whether the catfish was locally farm-raised. The waiter confidently said it came from a farm near Springfield, but a quick check suggested otherwise. When I followed up, he checked with the MOD and assistant managers, and no one could confirm the source—they just said that’s what they typically tell customers. That lack of clarity was disappointing.
On the plus side, the view is lovely, the décor is charming, and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, it’s a decent stop in a touristy area, but there’s definitely room for improvement in both accuracy and food execution.

We went with a group of six on a Friday afternoon and only one of us was impressed with the food. The Mac n cheese was flavorless (all three people that got it didn’t eat it). The bison burger was dry and overall disappointing, especially for a special of the day. The fish was okay, as was the salad/salmon, but the chicken strips were subpar.
Server was nice and polite, but took a long time to check on us and get us the check. The manager did offer to replace the Mac n cheese, but the people that ate it were already feeling a little sick from something they ate, so we declined.
The atmosphere was cool, but the overall meal and service were not nearly as to be expected from other reviews we had read.
