The first two times I went to this restaurant, it was extremely unique, so inviting, and the food was very good.
Fast forward 2 years, and I take my family there and the food quality was not the same, it was such a disappointment. Especially when I bragged about it, even the cornbread was awful. How hard is it to ruin cornbread? So I would not recommend going there. The only reason they did not get a one-star review is because of the atmosphere.
I may go back and get an appetizer only just to appreciate the surroundings.

Went with the wife for date night. The jalapeño cornbread was a nice snack before we placed our order. We ordered the Elk Sliders(Comes with 3) for an appetizer which was wonderful, the flavor of the elk with the fried onion pieces was a nice combination. The elk had more of a sausage taste then I was expecting but it did pair well with the sauce on the slider. I ordered the Bison Burger and green beans with bacon. Burger was cooked medium rare and had good flavor. The green beans were nothing special but a nice touch. My wife had the full rack of ribs with fries and mac & cheese. She said the ribs had great flavor, not dry, and was plenty of food for the price. The fries lasted no time and we shared the mac & cheese which had decent flavor. Overall the meal was great with wonderful views on the water. I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

When the rest of our party finally arrived, the front-of-house staff were curt and dismissive, and rather than honoring our reservation as a group, they split us across two separate tables without explanation or apology. To add insult to injury, I overheard a staff member at the host stand remark, dismissively, that they’d “finally sat the 20 top” — as if accommodating a reservation we’d made in advance was some kind of burden.
Our waitress was genuinely great — attentive, friendly, and doing her best to make up for the chaos at the front of house. But one good server can’t offset the tone set by the staff who greet you at the door. Their attitude cast a shadow over the entire meal, and honestly, it left me uneasy about how our food may have been handled given the hostility we experienced before we’d even ordered.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I’d urge future patrons to think twice before booking here. A reservation should mean something, and a large party shouldn’t be treated as a nuisance rather than a guest.

My significant other, myself and my 3 year old grandson decided to try your restaurant for the first time. Service was decent but a little slow. The problems started when our food arrived.
We had ordered fish and chips, kids mac n cheese, and the mahimahi portofino. The ONLY thing that was hot was the fried fish. Everything else was lukewarm at best. The server came to take our plates to be remade and also tried to take the plate my grandson was eating from (he was extremely hungry and I couldn'tmake him wait any longer). She took my significant other and my plate - when she brought it back, most of my plate was hot but again the shrimp and lobster cream sauce was barely lukewarm. We couldn't find our server. Finally we saw who said they were a manager and explained the situation, and I was explaining the sauce and shrimp were still not warm and his response very sarcastically was "you sure about that?" and something along the lines of well if you think you're taking it home I'm not taking it off your bill. I never asked to take it home, I dont eat reheated fish. I just wanted a nice dinner with my family. As a former restaurant manager and food truck owner I am appalled at the lack of customer service.

The atmosphere here is amazing! A wrap around porch overlooking the water, boats going by, rustic lake decor all throughout and windows everywhere. The food was good.
My family waited about 15 minutes for our server and it was feeling pretty warm and muggy.
We loved the cornbread and enjoyed most of our entrees.
My family was really enjoying our time but there was quite a wait on our check.
Our kids wanted to go out on the side deck to look out on the water. I guess there had been a complaint that there was too much in and out of that door. Eventually the manager sent my child in. Then he chewed out another group of kids coming in from that door and another woman came behind him and locked that door. I believe the complaint was that it was getting hot with the door opening. Which probably added to it, but, from the moment I walked in an hour or hour and a half before I was melting! I sat at the table with my menu fanning myself and was bummed when my menu got taken away after we ordered. So if there was a temperature issue, it wasn’t my kids’ fault.
It seems as though if you’re going to have decks overlooking the water complete with duck food and seating (which would suggest you are encouraging your guests to enjoy the deck), then you need to expect some traffic through those doors. And if you don’t like my kids going through those doors and you think they’re causing problems, then speed up your service.
Literally bummed out an otherwise perfect and pleasant experience at your restaurant.
