  Our experience and meal at Peohe was so good I called the manager Lol Short wait, hostesses were so friendly, our waiter Patrick was excellent, well versed on the menu, his suggestions were spot on from appetizer through dessert and the speciality drinks were amazing! And the view of San Diego across the bay, amazing (we sat outside on the deck) This was the meal I had been searching for during our stay in San Diego! We could not stop smiling! Overall the best meal we've had in a very long time! Chef's Kiss 💋 Keep up the great work

  Arrived on time for our reservation, as did many other groups that had the same reservation time. That should have been a clue that service was going to be rough with all these groups arriving at the same time. We were seated outside with a bay view as I requested. Unbeknownst to me it was rather windy at that time. Surprisingly our waitress took our food and drink order quickly. Then it went down hill from there. Drinks took a while to arrive, food even longer. The four of us agreed the food was marginally good. The server did her best, but she was overwhelmed with tables. As our stay dragon due to waiting for or food it became increasingly windy and cold. We finally chased down someone that could light a heater after finding one that worked. We were finally able to get our check a make to somewhere more warm. Advice, sit inside and avoid peak dining hours.

  Really disappointed with the food. I ordered the $43 salmon and it was very bland, so I asked for salt. The server did ask if there was anything he could do to make it better, but I said it was fine. Then I noticed the yellow squash on the side was spoiled, and after that I honestly didn’t even want to finish my food. Definitely not what I expected for $43.

  Exceptional food plus an amazing view. Usually, you get one or the other. I've been to many restaurants where you're primarily paying for the view and eating overpriced mid food. peohe's somehow managed to achieve both... Amazing food using fresh ingredients while enjoying the bay view along the gorgeous skyline. We came with a low expectation for the food. We were seeking something with a view. The menu isn't too long but offered many options. Every dish was perfectly prepared and well presented. Service is top notch. There was no wait for a party of three...best to make reservations on a weekend as I imagine it gets packed. You wanna sit in the patio. The inside seating has nice ambiance but the patio seating is where it's at. Parking is a bit challenging in the area. We got lucky since it was a Wednesday evening. Portions are just right. Prices are reasonable considering the location plus the quality of the ingredients. Strongly recommend!

  Celebrated 43 years of marriage at Peohe's on Coronado Island. Great window seat with a wonderful view of the bay and the San Diego skyline. Our server for the night was Christian. Christian provided outstanding service! Water to the table and we decided to order cocktails to start. My bride ordered a Tito's Dirty Martini and I opted for the recommended Chocolate Bourbon Cocktail that resembles an Old Fashioned. Next we order the Kim Chee Calamari, a favorite of ours. Cocktails and appetizer do not disappoint, we move on to the main course. My wife orders the Crab Stuffed Flounder and I the Chilean Sea Bass with Pinot Noir Sauce. These seafood dishes were outstanding and we did our best to clean both plates. For dessert we order the Mud Pie and with that Christian also brings us a complimentary slice of Red Velvet Cake. We brought a special bottle of wine to enjoy because corkage fee is only $25 per bottle. Our night at Peohe's was close to perfect. Can't wait to make a return visit.
