In light of a recent less than stellar visit to the Coronado location, and after a review of the existing ratings, I am here to sadly join the stated sentiment. My wife and I walked to this location with the intent of getting two dinner choices for takeout. Upon entering the lobby, which is small, I found myself navigating around an employee who appeared to be filling the condiment table. On further glance, I determined that she was leaning across the counter in some ‘junior high’ attempt to shield her phone while she was messaging someone. Are you kidding me? I remain dazzled that she was laser focused on her phone and NOT the newly entering guests coming in to order food. California continues to make the national news regarding the hourly rates that fast food workers earn. So, is this what the CA residents get in return? So, following this unfortunate visual, there was NO experience at the counter that would have ‘righted’ the ship. The employee at the counter was responsive but far from enthusiastic much less thankful. Chipotle, if this is your best, there are choices. I’ll be making mine next time. Worthy of note, I didn’t enter the restaurant looking to negotiate the menu pricing. Was merely looking for a baseline prompt and friendly experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a great experience. You know they made a little mistake on our bowl they went ahead and took it upon themselves to make a new one once I realized that I would give them six stars if I could, they were awesome
