  I recently took my son to Zaynas Cuts For Kids for his very first official salon/barbershop haircut, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded every expectation we had. As a parent, especially bringing in an 8-month-old for his first haircut, you naturally feel a little nervous. Babies move around, get fussy, and don’t always cooperate but from the moment we walked in, the entire atmosphere immediately put us at ease. The shop is clearly designed with kids in mind, making it a welcoming and comfortable environment for both parents and little ones. We had the pleasure of working with Raquel, and she was absolutely amazing. Her patience, energy, and ability to connect with my son were incredible. My son usually moves around a lot, but somehow Raquel kept him completely engaged and intrigued the entire time. It honestly surprised us how calm and focused he was throughout the haircut. That alone speaks volumes about her experience and skill working with children. On top of that, the customer service was top-tier. The staff and owner were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about creating a positive experience, not just giving a haircut. They made my son’s first haircut feel like a special moment rather than a stressful one. Overall, this was more than just a haircut it was a memorable experience for our family. I highly recommend Zaynas Cuts For Kids to any parent looking for a place that understands how to work with young children while delivering excellent service. We will definitely be coming back!

  One of the worst haircuts my daughter has ever received. Her hair is cut extremely uneven to the point where it looks like she has a mullet.

  Went a few times, the owner was really good but the last time I went he was busy and it was right before Thanksgiving so I *had* to get my son a trim. I had a woman I never saw before and TBH as soon as she started I should have stopped her. I was unsure, but after a few minutes I could tell she was chopping off everything, even his thick curls, and wasn’t doing any layering or that “scissor and comb” cutting you normally see. The owner was RIGHT there so I wasn’t sure what to do or say besides “Okay thats good” and we paid and left. I was hoping maybe if I washed it? No. I should have said something but I was doubting myself. Worst haircut ever, it was heavy in parts and the back was almost a mullet, the front had straight bangs and I waited from Nov to Feb to find another place so it could grow out. Used a lot of mousse in the meantime. My new hairstylist today kept showing me where it was uneven, and he fixed it but we need to grow it out more to get his curls back now that he fixed the layers. Unless you use the owner, don’t risk it.

  We are never disappointed! My 12 year old son is always changing his look. The two stylists we use are always on point!
