  Lilikoi is the best got my haircut and I was low-key nervous but she gave a lot of confidence again. Brought my friend and she also got him right too. If you need a haircut I would recommend her for anything from cuts to colors.

  Photos do NOT do it justice- some of the best blonding I've ever experienced. I moved to San Diego County last year and I have found it's always very difficult to find a new stylist, especially one who does a decent job with blonde hair. So I decided to give Bellus Academy a whirl. It is now my permanent salon! I have had multiple visits since December of last year and they were all exceptional. Namely Soleil and Viviana were very gifted and took my instructions seriously. I have not been this happy with my hair in many years! One thing I will make a note of is that sometimes the supervising instructors seem to tell the students NOT to follow through with the instructions I give them (for example, I always let my stylist know that I want them to get as close to the root as possible, but at least once the student was instructed to not follow my directive because "it won't blend as well when it grows out.") Although I understand the reasoning, I feel as though if I know what I'm asking for, they should give me what I'm asking for and I am responsible for the consequences. That being said, each time they did not follow my directive, they offered a complimentary touch up appointment which I appreciated. :) On that note, not only do they guarantee their work, but my first visit was 50% off, which was a hugely pleasant surprise! Other than that small piece of feedback, I have been very happy with my experiences here and plan to go back. Thank you for an exceptional experience.

  Im absolutely blown away by the talent of the two girls who did my full highlights. I mean, going into a student salon you would expect a couple flaws-but I left with a professional hair transformation. I cannot find a single flaw in my hair!!! The students who did my hair were Emily Wilt and Joy Staples- these two ladies perform at a professional level. I have no notes and no complaints or criticisms- I left absolutely in love with it and will be going back!

  I had a facial with Ila Patchis in the beginning of June which was amazing! She was professional and very personable. I am coming back to CA in September and will look forward to have another facial with her! On June 10th I took my my 9 yr old granddaughter for a mani & pedi and my other granddaughter a pedicure. Yes I had Valarie for my Kait and Tiana, leach was wonderful! I would definitely recommend Bellus Academy to anyone!

  Camryn did an amazing job with my hair color correction! She really listened to what I wanted, then offered professional advice that showed both her knowledge and confidence. She worked efficiently and quickly without sacrificing quality and made the entire experience comfortable. Most importantly, she corrected my hair color to exactly what I had envisioned. It's clear she's talented, skilled, and ready to graduate. I highly recommend Camryn to anyone looking for great results!
