During my purchase, the associate (Kingston Smith) grabbed and tried to pack the floor display model right in front of me. I immediately intervened and requested a brand-new, factory-sealed unit. To gain my trust, he brought out a new box and showed me what appeared to be a fresh unit, but he then took it to a back room out of my sight to pack it.
I got home to discover he had used that time behind to swap it for the display model anyway—the bag was completely missing its protective paper seals. When I drove 2 hours back to return it, he wouldn't give a straight answer. He made vague excuses, first blaming the warehouse, then claiming he didn't know what happened, and eventually suggesting it might have been "briefly displayed or tried on" by others. If he was telling the truth, he proved thst he did not even check the quality of the bag inside of the box, that usually happens at other luxury stores. This felt like a deliberate bait-and-switch. I ended up driving 3.5 hours to the Austin store where other associate provided the honest service this store lacks, including a pristine, perfectly paper-sealed bag. Very disappointing.
