  The Bone-In New York Strip was definitely the highlight of the night. The steak was so tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with that perfect char on the outside. You can really taste the quality of the meat. I also tried the black truffle creamed spinach, and it was honestly one of the best sides I’ve had at a steakhouse. Everything together made the meal really special. Definitely a place I would recommend if you want a really good steak in NYC.

  5 stars. Strip House absolutely nails that classic old-school New York steakhouse experience. The second you walk in, the dark room, red lighting, white tablecloths and old-school atmosphere make the place feel special. It has character without trying too hard and just feels like the kind of steakhouse you want to find when you’re in NYC. We had the Kansas City strip and the 12 oz filet mignon, and both were excellent. The filet was cooked perfectly, tender, juicy and exactly what you expect when you’re paying for a serious steak. The baked potato was massive and simple in the best possible way, and the Brussels sprouts were great as well. Even the Bibb lettuce salad was really good. Service from Brennan was excellent. Professional, attentive and on top of everything without constantly hovering over the table. That’s becoming harder to find and it makes a huge difference at a restaurant like this. It’s definitely not cheap, but this is New York and you’re paying for the entire experience. Two steaks, salad, sides and waters came quite high, and unlike some expensive steakhouses, we actually walked out feeling like we had a great meal. Great steaks, great service and one of those dining rooms that actually feels like New York. Would absolutely come back. 5/5.

  Always a delight! One of my favorite places in town, beautiful balance between the classic speakeasy and steakhouse ambiance, great service and they were extremely helpful when I asked to apply reward discount to my meal. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare, flavorful crust with that rare pink in the center, in combination with the peppery sauce and the truffle blend mashed potato, every bite was an explosion of ascension in my palette. (I was just at Delmonico the week before, and I like the strip here better.) The only thing was that they were playing Ariana Grande type pop music, feels like Sinatra style would fit the atmosphere better.

  Came here with 6 people for a birthday party at 7pm. By 1am 4/7 of us had severe diarrhea.

  I had outstanding dinner experience at the Strip House Steakhouse. The atmosphere, service, and food was spectacular! The dining room was a classic historic vibe that I thoroughly enjoyed. The waiter was unbelievably professional, helpful friendly. The bartenders and sommelier were awesome, great cocktails and wine for dinner. The food was amazing, the Lumb Crab Meat cocktail and Oysters Rockefeller extremely tasty! The Dry Aged Strip Steak and Filet Mignon were perfect and delicious. The sides of Lobster Mac and Cheese and Red Potatoes didn't disappoint. The 24 layer Chocolate Cake and Flambe baked Alaska were well worth it. The presentation and taste other worldly! A truly outstandingly excellent meal, everything was so good, true dining excellence.
