  Horrible experience with 2 rooms that didn’t work. First room had no ac and then the second room didn’t have a toilet that worked. Never stay here. Horrible.

  My room was clean, modern, and fairly quiet. Aircon worked really well. Cool vibe in this place. Smaller rooms, but hey, its NYC. Located near a lot of food places. And not far from Grand Central, Chrysler Building, and NYC Public Library.

  The room was decent and location was good, close to Times Square, Grand Central and some decent hotels. I have 2 major gripes with the hotel though 1 - What kind of genius decides to have a family room with no latch or lock on the bathroom door? 2 - The underhanded extra charges they put on the room. We were charged $35 per day for amenities (like conference room and what not) that we had no plan of using nor we put in a request. I am a big IHG guy and have stayed in 30-40 different places but never had such underhanded charges put on our credit card for no reason at all. I will not stay in EVEN branded hotel again.

  Here for two nights, on the second night I came back to my room after a long day to find my key wasn’t working- it would light up green but not allow me to actually open the door. I’ve been currently waiting in the lobby for over half an hour, and it is now after midnight, was told that an engineer would need to “replace the handle” and was told to “take a seat” with no apology or offered any other assistance while I’m locked out of my room this late at night.

  9/11, The view was amazing from my room at night! I have to give a compliment to Bridge Giaramita, Assistant Front Office Manager! She made an older lady that hardly travels alone feel safer. I had to ask her to call about extremely loud music next to my room, done! (Tried to post video so you wouldn’t think I was being difficult!). I went to get a snack and asked the bartender for help, use the kiosk. Neither scanned, still no help. (This is only reason for a four) only had three at the bar. So I went to the office and Bridge helped! She was amazing and an asset to the Even❤️ loved talking and sharing about favorite books to read! It is a clean and great hotel, I always take a small fan to help with noise. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
