  Chanel — East Hampton Boutique A gem of a boutique. It's noticeably smaller than the Chanel store we're used to in Las Vegas, but that's exactly what gives it its charm — it has a true, intimate boutique feel rather than a big-store atmosphere. Set in a beautifully preserved white brick building (the old Maidstone firehouse) with white hydrangeas spilling from the window boxes, it fits the Hamptons perfectly. Inside, the space is bright, airy, and thoughtfully decorated, with a lively summer-resort energy that made the whole visit enjoyable. Jose, who helped my wife find a bag, was excellent — knowledgeable, attentive, and never pushy. He made the experience feel easy and relaxed, simply guiding us through the selection until she found a beautiful denim Chanel bag with the signature quilting and gold chain strap. A standout piece, and a great memory from the trip. Highly recommend stopping in if you're out east. Ask for Jose.
