I recently brought my Yurman pieces to the Boston store and was truly impressed by the level of service I received. Ricky welcomed me, carefully inspected all of my jewelry, and had everything beautifully cleaned within just a few hours.
When I returned to pick everything up, John assisted me at checkout. During our conversation, I mentioned that I rarely wear one of my rings because it’s too large. Without hesitation, he offered to have it resized and generously arranged for it to be covered. He genuinely cared that I wasn’t able to enjoy such a special piece, which meant so much to me.
As if that wasn’t enough, about a week later I noticed a diamond had fallen out of my bracelet after the cleaning. It wasn’t immediately apparent since everything looked so polished and sparkly. I called the store right away, hoping they might be able to help. Mackenzie answered and was incredibly kind and reassuring. She promptly sent me a prepaid shipping label so the bracelet could be repaired and once again, they covered the cost.
This level of care, kindness, and attention to detail is truly exceptional. I will absolutely continue shopping at the Boston store. Kudos to the entire team…thank you so much!

Buyer Beware: If you’re considering purchasing from David Yurman, be aware that the high price tag doesn’t guarantee high quality. And if your piece needs fixing down the line, expect to pay through the nose for something that should have lasted longer in the first place. Save your money and look elsewhere for jewelry that holds up to its promises without extortionate repair costs.
Absolutely Disappointed with David Yurman’s Jewelry Quality and Repair Pricing
I bought the Petite Helena Open Ring in 18K Yellow Gold with Diamonds (2.5mm) as a gift back in December 2020 for $1,350.00. I trusted that purchasing from a brand with such a high-end reputation would ensure not only beautiful craftsmanship but also longevity. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
After only a few years of wear, the ring needed repairs and refurbishment. I brought the ring into the store, expecting quality service that would reflect the premium price I paid. Instead, I was hit with an outrageous repair estimate of $750.00—almost half the price of what I originally paid for the piece. This is simply absurd. The ring's quality has not held up, and now I'm being charged a SHOCKING fee to fix something that shouldn’t need such extensive work after just a few years.
Makes me wonder—if David Yurman stands by the quality of your products, why aren’t you willing to back them with better warranties or even reasonable repair pricing? The fact that you charge exorbitantly for repairs instead of addressing possible craftsmanship issues speaks volumes about the lack of integrity behind the brand.
