I had a very disappointing experience at the Dior store in Aventura Mall on May 30, 2026.
What made this experience especially disappointing is that it felt as though I was being judged based on my appearance. Neither the associate nor anyone else in the store knew anything about me. I work as a reverse thrust mechanic for private jets in the aviation industry, and my coworker also works in aviation. We came into the store as paying customers looking to purchase a Dior fragrance, not to be judged or dismissed.
I visited the mall with a coworker while shopping for clothes, shoes, and a fragrance before an upcoming cruise vacation. After searching for a Dior fragrance, I was happy to find the Dior store and decided to go inside.
The security staff at the entrance were extremely polite and welcoming. They asked what I was looking for and directed me toward the fragrance section. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely once I spoke with one of the sales associates, I did not ask her name, It was a young white skinny lady
As soon as I approached, the associate looked me up and down and told me someone would help me when they had a chance because everyone was busy with customers. However, it did not appear that she was assisting anyone at the time. She then asked what I was looking for, and I explained that I wanted to purchase a men’s fragrance.
Instead of helping me find what I was looking for, she pointed toward some perfumes and then told me that I was in a private customer area. She suggested that I go to Macy’s if I wanted to buy a fragrance. I was shocked by the way I was treated and felt completely unwelcome in the store.
I walked out without making a purchase. The security staff were once again courteous and even asked what fragrance I had been looking for, but by that point I no longer felt comfortable shopping there.
It’s really bad the way they treated me just because how I look like without knowing that I can afford anything that I like wherever I’m at
Her costumer service it’s horrible…
