As I checked out of the Holiday Inn in San Francisco, I wanted to recognize Mr. Ray at the bell desk for his outstanding service. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. His warm attitude and willingness to assist made a great impression and added to an excellent guest experience. I am disappointed with my stay at this hotel. For the last three days, the internet/Wi-Fi in my room has not been working. I reported the issue to the front desk every day, but no action was taken and the problem remained unresolved throughout my stay.
Reliable internet is an important service for guests, and I expected a quicker response from the hotel staff. Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, there was no effective follow-up or solution provided.
As I am checking out tomorrow, I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves its response to guest concerns in the future.

I made reservations specifically for the top floor but when I checked in I was given a sub-standard room and told it would be $20 off. I also noticed that my card was charged twice, once for $165 and again for $195, what a ripoff !

I had an outstanding stay at this hotel, and I wanted to recognize one employee who truly made the experience exceptional: Sheryl.
From the moment I arrived, Sheryl went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. She was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring I had a great stay. To my surprise, she upgraded my room, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated.
In today's world, exceptional customer service can be hard to find, but Sheryl exemplifies what hospitality should look like. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to help turned a good stay into a memorable one.
The hotel is fortunate to have someone like Sheryl representing their brand. She deserves recognition for her outstanding work and the positive impact she has on guests. Thank you, Sheryl, for making my visit such a wonderful experience. I look forward to staying here again!

Clean room and good breakfast. We walked between the pier and the hotel, which took about 30 minutes each way, and there are also plenty of buses nearby.
I highly recommend this hotel if you need parking and want breakfast ready in the morning.
The evenings were quite windy and cold, even in late May. We caught a cold and got sick, so consider bringing one extra layer of clothing than you think you'll need.
