  We had a fantastic experience at the Holiday Inn Gatwick, and a huge part of that was down to Robert in the restaurant. His service was exceptional in every way. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional, while also making us feel genuinely welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and he went above and beyond throughout our meal. Robert has a fantastic manner with customers and clearly takes pride in what he does. His attention to detail and willingness to help really stood out and made what could have simply been a meal at an airport hotel into a genuinely enjoyable experience. Robert is an absolute credit to the Holiday Inn and deserves recognition for the excellent service he provides. Staff like him make a huge difference to a customer’s experience. Thank you, Robert — 10/10 service and thoroughly deserved recognition.

  If you are flying out of or into Gatwick Airport (or just want a night away), this is the place to stay. Everything was done with such ease and staff were more than happy to help. Rooms were spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant/bar area was was spacious and roomy. We had a delicious dinner from the restaurant as well as an amazing continental buffet breakfast. Angela (breakfast) was attentive to us, making sure we had everything we needed whether it be removing empty cups/plates, replacing cutlery and extending any extra help before we left. There is a screen with all arrival and departures listed for your convenience. Getting to/or from the Airport was just as easy using the Hoppa Airport Shuttle Service. Would fly back to Gatwick just to stay here again.

  I stayed in this hotel for one night following a flight cancellation. After a difficult time with tbe travel arrangements the hotel was first class. Really efficient check-in process and a clean, comfortable, well appointed room. Tbe restaurant experience was excellent. Great food and our main server, Robert was awesome. So cheery, friendly and helpful, a real credit to himself and a rare, refreshing find amoung staff of his age group these days. He elevated the already good restaurant experience even further. Magda was also friendly and cheerful. This hotel and their fantastic staff made my family very welcome and improved the mood considerably following our flight difficulties. Cant fault it.

  Очень понравился отель! 🥰 Прекрасное место для отдыха — уютно, чисто и комфортно. Персонал приветливый и внимательный, всегда готовы помочь. Номер был чистый и уютный, всё необходимое для комфортного проживания было. Отдельно хочется отметить атмосферу и расположение отеля. Остались только приятные впечатления! Обязательно вернусь сюда ещё раз и с удовольствием буду рекомендовать этот отель другим ❤️ Отдельное спасибо Екатерине 😊

  The Holiday Inn London Gatwick Airport was a good hotel and met our expectations for an near airport hotel. The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There were some nearby hotels that were cheaper at the time we booked, but they didn't have air conditioning, so we chose to stay here and the air conditioner worked very well for us. No refrigerator in our room, but we managed fine. All the staff were nice and even chatted with a few casually. The service at the restaurant downstairs was ok, the servers seems distracted at times, but I think it may have been due to the large and varied seating areas. They are very flexible and said we can sit anywhere they had seating (dining room, separate bar area, lobby seating area, or even in the meeting rooms) and that they would deliver our food to us. This may have caused the servers to be spread thinner than usual since they have to track larger areas. But the food was very good! The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of options (bacon, beans, hash browns, eggs, cereals, yogurts, fruits, pastries (the round pain au chocolate-like item with apples and chocolate was delicious), juices, milks, breads. Angela served us for breakfast and she was awesome! She was kind and patient as she showed us all the great options for gluten free and dairy free allergies. She advised us that it would take about 20 mins to receive the food because it would be cooked in a separate kitchen and we were find with waiting of course. She brought the food out in about 17 mins and it was great, no issues there. Breakfast time was our favorite time during our stay due to this! The only bad thing really was that the website says they have a complimentary shuttle to and from the Gatwick airport. However, it says it's not available just under that paragraph. So we had to pay to use the Hoppa Bus. We paid about $30 USD round trip for a 2 adults + 2 kids (family discount). Check in and check out was smooth and quick. This hotel works great for proximity to Gatwick airport and we would consider it again in the future.
