  We stayed here for one night prior to going on holiday. Rooms are clean, a little dated but good enough for a one night stay before any early flight. Staff were very jovial and friendly on reception, very welcoming. Only negative was we decided last minute to drive to the airport rather than the train and we tried to call the hotel several times and nobody answered. We wanted to know if we could add parking to our reservation. We therefore had to book airport parking. When we spoke to reception on arrival they said they did offer parking - answer your phones! There is a bus service to the terminal from the hotel which is around £9 per adult return, £4.50 single I think. It’s not a free transfer.

  We stayed at this hotel before a trip to Turkey and used the long stay parking. Everything went smoothly until the airline didn't allow me to board due to a spelling error on my boarding pass. We were both very stressed given the complete lack of customer assistance from the airline and returned to the hotel. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. A big thank you to them.

  Stayed one night as we had an early morning flight from Gatwick. Check in was easy and the staff pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything you'd expect. We went to the bar for a few drinks, service was good but the drinks were slightly pricey. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Check out was quick which was good because we had an airport shuttle bus to catch just outside. Took the stress of travelling early out and we arrived at the airport rested and relaxed

  The hotel has a very good reception, including the cleanliness of the rooms, the politeness and smile of the cleaning staff is very pleasant. The service they provide at the breakfast area is very pleasant and polite. Especially Ms. Angela is very special. She is patient and respectful with her bright beautiful smile and makes our stay beautiful. We thank her 🙏 The sports room is also great. We are happy about everything. By the way, according to the comments, the bathroom in the room is not very comfortable. Although the bathroom is spacious and clean, the bathtub is not very comfortable. It is short and it is very uncomfortable to pour water freely on your hands and wash your hands. Check it out. 👋👋👋🙏🙏🙏 Heute ist unser letzter Tag. Neben den 15 Tagen, die wir gemeinsam im Frühstückslokal verbracht haben, hatten wir auch eine wundervolle Zeit mit Katrina und Carolina, die unsere Woche wie immer sehr angenehm gestaltet haben. Wir danken außerdem dem Brillenträger, dessen Name hier nicht genannt wird, für seine herzliche Gastfreundschaft und sein freundliches Lächeln.

  We missed our @EasyJet 6.25am flight by less than a minute due to the wait for the lift down to the boarding gate, then the gate closed as we approached! We then booked the Holiday Inn Gatwick for the night as we had rearranged our flight for the following day. Feeling very tired, disappointed & deflated at missing a day of our holiday, we explained our situation to Renia on HI reception. After a very short wait we discovered that Renia had waved her “magic wand” & managed to get us into our rooms hours ahead of normal occupancy time. Thank you so much to Renia for her outstanding customer service & the housekeeping team for sorting the rooms. As always, Holiday Inn staff epitomised that their roles are a vocation & not just a job. 10/10
