  My consultant Holly was really friendly and explained everything she was doing and what she was using and why. As I don't normally wear makeup up,but wanted to try something a bit special ready for my son's wedding. It was also good that the price of the trial is taken off anything you buy.

  We had booked a 30 minutes makeover but on the morning of the appointment received a call saying half of the team were sick and they had to cancel. However the manager Olivia kindly went round the other beauty counters in JL and found me an alternative appointment at Chanel instead. I really appreciate the effort to turn a potential disaster into a great solution. Will definitely pop by their counter anyway to show my appreciation.

  Sarah was amazing...my husband has just died and I was in JLewis on a whim. She really put me at my ease, even though I cried through the entire makeover. She made me feel like myself again.

  I went to john lewis in Nottingham and was dealt with by Holly, who was extremely helpful and patient, listened to what I wanted, and advised me accordingly. I cant recommend her highly enough. She made my day!

  I’ve been to Charlotte Tilbury in Nottingham 3 times and twice I have been served by Carly - the first time I needed a bit of a refresh and the second time I wanted to create a make up suitable for a wedding in the Caribbean. In both occasions Carly was so brilliant, she listens, she gives amazing advice but where I think she has a real talent is when I challenged her on a couple of things she adapted on some of the points but she stood firmly on others and she was so right. This shows Carly’s extensive experience in make up but also in dealing with people. In my case some things weren’t things I was used to like a setting powder or a setting spray and now I have no idea how I lived without them. On others it was just a different look that I was used to but so appropriate for the event I’m attending in few weeks. Carly thank you so much for your knowledge, for your patience and for caring. You know I will be back xx
