We spent a couple of days here for a weekend break. We found the hotel room lovely and spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was more average than exceptional but enough to get going in the morning. The location was ok, but walking down to the Quay and the old town was about 15 minutes.

Very memoriable experience
Penalty charge for what we haven't done as they told we damage their room carpet but we dont agree with them because we dont own such kind of products .
So take videos and photos while check in and check out .
They told we damaged their new carpet but we dont own those colours .

Room about the same as Premier Inn but much more expensive. Did get a very good free beakfast. However, we were charged £10 to park the car for 1 night and spaces were tight! Will not be going there again.

Very good hotel for those on a reasonable budget. Stayed for 2 nights in the middle of June with another guest and it wasn't too busy or too quiet. This is my first time staying in a 'big chain' hotel and the service was very good and friendly, from the reception desk to dinner and self–serve breakfast with regular replenishment of food items. Aiswarya the assistant at Reception in particular was welcoming and helpful with my queries and few requests, as well as always saying Hello when entering and leaving. Room was clean and tidy, and the two twin beds were comfortable, although the firm side of the pillow could have been a bit more firm. Shower was very good in pressure and temperature control. Small ironing board and iron neatly tucked away came in handy on one occasion.
Location is an ideal 5–8 minutes walk for those visiting Poole for a concert or show at the nearby Lighthouse arts centre/venue, like I did. It's a 5–minute walk to the bus station, where you can get a bus to places such as Sandbanks Beach, and a 15–minute walk to Poole railway station cutting through the shopping centre.
I hope to return to Poole in the not–too–distant future for a longer holiday. When considering accommodation, this Holiday Inn Express will be at the top of my list.

When we first arrived looks nice on the outside and inside
issues with parking the car you have to pay £10 overnight even on the website say it’s free parking… not impressed. I am profoundly deaf and the staff were really rude. The lady that booked us in was very rude and wasn’t understanding about my needs. The lift probably could do with being checked. The bedroom overall were good although it was me and my partners staying and we had single beds? Breakfast wasn’t great tasted poor. Not many options to pick from for breakfast. Staff overall just looked miserable.
On a good note I can say the lady that bought us two fresh pillows that was probably the only good we got from our stay. Wouldn’t stay there again.
