  I really enjoyed the experience and knowledge I observed from the makeup artist. She was very polite and friendly. It made the whole experience pleasant.

  The experience was good. My only complaint would be that after spending £395 ,which to me is a huge amount,I was advised by email that the offer of a free bronzing brush on purchases over £90 does not include money spent in store.I admit to being very disappointed after such a large outlay.

  I came for advice on subtle makeup suitable for my age - mid 70's. Maria listened carefully and at the end of the session I was delighted with the results and the techniques she'd given me. Brilliant. Thank you Maria. (One suggestion - I wish I'd taken a selfie.)

  I asked one of the staff if they had a certain pillow talk shade in stock because I wanted to buy it, but I was met with her snapping “lipliner or lipstick” in a very fed up tone and then when they didn’t have it in stock I was disappointed but it was okay so I asked for makeup remover to wipe off the swatches from my hand and she sighed, grabbed two tissues and shoved them in my hand?? I was very startled by her dismissive and fed up attitude idk if it might have been I look young for my age or whatever it might be there’s no reason to be so unfriendly when I’m your customer the whole interaction made me very upset and put off from returning to charlotte tilbury in john lewis, I don’t think it is right at all to treat customers that way
