Our stay at the InterContinental was marvelous. We appreciated the location as well as the comfort of the facility. However, by far, the highlight of our stay was being greeted by Sarah in the dining room each morning. Her bright smile started our day off perfectly and she went above and beyond while conversing and answering our many questions. She is a dynamo, always being there when needed, always with a smile and kind word. She is a tremendous asset to the hotel!

My stay at the InterContinental Geneva was truly exceptional, and I would like to extend my special thanks to Victoria.
Victoria embodies everything one would hope to find in a hospitality professional. Her warmth, elegance, professionalism, and genuine care for guests made every breakfast experience unforgettable. She has an extraordinary ability to anticipate guests’ needs, offer thoughtful recommendations, and ensure that every detail is handled with excellence.
In my opinion, she is the perfect person for such an important role within a luxury hotel. The breakfast and dining experience is often one of the highlights of a guest’s stay, and Victoria elevates it to the highest standard through her dedication, knowledge, and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Beyond her professionalism, she is simply a wonderful person—kind, approachable, attentive, and always welcoming. She creates an atmosphere where guests feel valued and genuinely cared for.
I would also like to compliment the entire team. The service was impeccable, and it was clear to see a positive, supportive, and professional working environment among all colleagues. Their teamwork and enthusiasm contributed greatly to the exceptional experience.
The breakfast itself was spectacular, with outstanding quality, variety, and presentation. Every morning was a pleasure.

I was disappointed tonight to receive my dinner stake served with punch of white ropes !!! Yes ROPES. Chewing on steak meat with punch of ropes was not a good feeling. Not good. When complained to Sabastian (their manager) he tried to explain pretending that it is there to hold the meat and keep it JUICY. !!! earlier the waiters (Omar and xx) sat me outside but told that between 6 and 7, they can seat you but you can’t order food ??? !!! They didn’t even explain the reasons.
Honestly, I should’ve got the hint much earlier today. Back from when I checked in to get my room keys. It took them 20 mins to get me the keys. 3 people who came after me got their rooms while I was waiting on dine trainee (Sara) to figure out hotel to use the system.
I will think TWICE before I reserve with you again. Thnx but no thanx.
Let me start with, we have traveled around the World and have stayed at many hotels ranging from 3 to 5 stars including Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, The W, Pebble Beach, Blackberry Farm, Hyatt's, Hilton's Marriott's and Hampton Inn's. Upon driving into the driveway of the hotel, we did not feel it was that of a 5* property. Lobby was beautiful and modern and staff is exceptionally friendly, HOWEVER, the rooms are NOT 5* standard. Furniture is dated, bed is super hard, linen is not fine thread, drapery is dingy, wallpaper is peeling, AC does not go below 23 C, bathrooms need updating including the toilets, and there just is no warmth or luxuriousness to the room. It is not comfortable and honestly, it felt like the room was decorated with IKEA furniture. Again, service is great, on point and friendly, but we're looking for physical comfort in our room from a 5* hotel especially traveling so far from home and on vacation. Also, we were just settling into our room when there was a knock on our door. Before we had the chance to get there, a man opened the door with his key! Sure, we appreciated the fruits and cookies, but it was NOT okay to come in abruptly! Hopefully, this review will provide guidance on choosing this hotel against other 5* hotels in Geneva. Disappointed in this Intercontinental hotel.

Un séjour absolument incroyable à l'InterContinental Genève. J'ai eu le plaisir d'occuper une Junior Suite Vue Lac située au 9e étage. L'expérience a été à la hauteur de mes attentes les plus élevées.
L'espace, la luminosité et la vue imprenable sur le lac et les Alpes sont tout simplement époustouflants. Le confort absolu et la décoration raffinée de la suite ont rendu ce moment unique. Je tiens également à souligner la qualité exceptionnelle du service : le personnel fait preuve d'une attention, d'un professionnalisme et d'une discrétion remarquables.
Chaque détail est pensé pour le bien-être du client. Un hôtel idéalement placé près des institutions de l'ONU.
Une adresse incontournable à Genève pour ceux qui recherchent l'excellence.
