  Unfortunately, lunch was a very disappointing experience. The service was generally average overall, but our experience with one of the waiters/hosts was particularly unpleasant. His manner was abrasive and unwelcoming, and his explanations of the dishes were unclear. He did not seem particularly attentive or friendly, which unfortunately added to our overall discomfort. There were also several issues with our orders. We specifically requested a certain drink, but there appeared to be a lack of communication with the bar, and we were ultimately served the wrong drink. One of our food orders was also completely forgotten. We had to remind the waiter about it before it was finally brought to the table. What was more disappointing was that instead of simply acknowledging the oversight, the waiter acted as though the delay was intentional and tried to fit the dish in among the other courses, even though it was supposed to be one of the first dishes served. Another major disappointment was the menu. The choices were extremely limited, especially for guests with food allergies or specific dietary restrictions. We were unable to find suitable options that could accommodate our needs, which made the dining experience frustrating and inconvenient. The portion sizes were also surprisingly small. Some of the dishes felt more like tasting portions rather than actual dishes. Considering the prices, we expected much more in terms of portion size, variety, and overall value. Unfortunately, the meal felt overpriced for what was actually served. The combination of the very limited menu, lack of suitable dietary options, small portions, order mistakes, and the unfriendly and unprofessional attitude of the waiter made this a disappointing experience. There was very little that stood out positively enough to make us want to return. Thus, it is not an experience I would choose to repeat.

  I visited Monsieur Dior with my niece to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My niece had noted my birthday when making the reservation and was specifically told I would receive a birthday card, but my birthday was never acknowledged. Service was also very inattentive compared with the tables around us. We ordered caviar and beef tartare; after approximately 45 minutes with no tartare, we canceled it and requested the check. The waiter then brought only a credit card reader without first providing an itemized bill, and I had to specifically request one. The worst part of the experience involved the restroom. I was told the restaurant restroom was out of order and was directed downstairs to the second floor, located in the Dior store where there was only one restroom. I entered, closed and LOCKED the door. While I was inside the restroom, a cleaning attendant unlocked the door from the outside WITHOUT KNOCKING OR WARNING and allowed another patron to begin walking in on me. I was so startled and embarrassed that I scrambled to gather my belongings and leave. Afterward, I stepped only a few feet into the second-floor showroom and was rudely told by security that the store was closed—even though I was only on that floor because the restaurant had directed me there to use the restroom. For an establishment associated with the Dior name, the entire experience was incredibly disappointing. Slow and inattentive service is one thing, but having an employee unlock a locked, occupied restroom without even knocking was completely unacceptable and a serious violation of my privacy. What was supposed to be a special birthday evening instead left me embarrassed, uncomfortable, and disappointed.

  A lovely dining experience at Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn. The space is beautifuI especially loved how the restaurant’s design is thoughtfully paired with the elegance and details of Dior. Service was impeccable. A special thank you to our server, Jimmy, who took wonderful care of us. The entire team was incredibly polished and attentive, even the placement of the silverware was precise and nearly silent. Service at this level really makes a difference. Food highlights were the beef tartare and dry-aged duck. The tartare had beautiful balance and texture, the beets and sourdough added crunch, while the bone marrow vinaigrette and egg yolk emulsion brought everything together. The duck was perfectly cooked with wonderfully crisp skin, complemented beautifully by the jus, chanterelles, and potato. The sourdough was excellent. The laminated brioche was flavorful with beautiful layers, though I would have preferred it served slightly warm. The steelhead trout was the one disappointment. It was served a bit too cold and lacked the flavor and excitement of the other dishes. The black tea also could have been served hotter, preferably in a warmed cup, although the staff graciously replaced it when mentioned. Overall, a beautiful experience with exceptional service and some truly memorable dishes. Definitely worth visiting, and I would happily return.

  An absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. I had dinner at Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn, and honestly, I left completely speechless. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly attentive, warm and genuinely welcoming, making the entire evening feel truly special. A special thank you to Thomas and the wonderful team who took such great care of me throughout the evening. The food was simply outstanding. I started with the Tuna Violette Bouquet, followed by the Beef Perlé, and finished with the Raspberry Dentelle for dessert. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of incredible flavors, and felt like a true work of art. I was genuinely impressed by every course. I was also celebrating my birthday, and the team made the evening even more memorable by bringing me a beautiful birthday candle and wishing me a happy birthday. Such a simple but thoughtful gesture made me feel incredibly special. What I loved most was that the experience was about so much more than just the food. The beautiful Dior surroundings, the atmosphere, the attention to every little detail, and the exceptional service all came together perfectly. It is definitely an experience worth remembering, and for me, absolutely worth the money. I walked out feeling genuinely grateful to have experienced such a beautiful evening. This is not simply a dinner you have and forget. It is an experience that stays with you. Thank you to the entire Monsieur Dior team.

  Very disappointing experience. We stopped by Dior for dessert, and despite the restaurant being almost completely empty, we felt like we were being rushed out. After we had been there for only about 45 minutes, 2–3 different servers started coming to our table every few minutes asking if we needed anything else, and if not, whether they could bring us the check. For a restaurant/café that charges $29 for a chocolate cake, I expect a certain level of service and hospitality. Instead, the constant interruptions and pressure to leave felt extremely rude and unprofessional. We weren’t even there for a long time, and there were plenty of empty tables around us. The atmosphere may be beautiful, but the service completely ruined the experience for us. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. When you’re paying Dior prices, the service should match the experience.
