Worst hotel stay with disgusting rooms and bad service. For background, I spend over 100 nights per year in hotels across the US. I came here for a family wedding in Wisconsin. The staff was unhelpful and seemed very uninterested in helping us fix any of our problems. The night shift front desk lady sat playing on her phone as we tried to get her attention and ask her for help. When she did communicate it was very short and runaround in explanation with no actual answers. It took us over an hour to check in and get room keys. (Note that we had to get new keys 3 times as they kept issuing wrong ones) When we finally got to our room at 11pm, the bed was dirty and there was clearly dried semen/pubic hair/blood stains on the sheets and mattress protectors. There was also black hair in the showers and leftover soap. When we called the front desk to ask for new bedding they told us that it had just been cleaned and safe to use but they’d “take care of it”. The desk in the morning seemed to be absolutely unaware of what happened the night before and said “I don’t think that happened”. At approximately 1:30 am we had sheets lazily dropped off outside our door. Whilst they were cleaner than what was originally on the bed, they were still not entirely clean and had dried stains on them. Additionally, when we checked into the hotel, they gave us a much higher rate than what we had booked online ($139 online, $179 at the hotel) and then finally charged us $203 on our card. When I called to ask about the charge they claimed that they could not find the booking or receipt for our room. We have stayed in 4.5 star hotels for the same price as this hotel has charged us for an absolute disgusting experience.

The TVs are too complicated to work to just get to cable and even the front desk could not figure it out at first. The bathroom floor has obviously not been cleaned, wood was chipped off parts of the furniture and the microwave was dirty. Also, their was a chocolate bar wrapper and chocolate stains in the nightstand drawer. My parents room next to us also had clothes in the drawer that was not theirs. Gross. Not a great experience.

8/26: well maintained, well-kept, professional staff and nice location close to the interstate.
