  We had a company softball tournament in town, the company had reserved several rooms here. Most employees chose other hotels, which we should have done as well. We got in at around 1030, there were no parking spots available. We kindly asked the desk clerk if they had overflow parking and the only good thing during this experience was that she moved her personal car in order for us to park. Only one of the two elevators worked. Our room was OK. Basic nothing fancy. Cigarette burn in the bed comforter. And a used condom was found next to the bed. Our toilet wasn't working properly. Water running all night. My husband had to take top off just to flush. Breakfast was OK. Eggs were mush. When we told front desk of the condom they just opened their mouth. But no compensation was ever expressed. Will not be coming back here again.

  The rooms are outdated. Very true. Their was some stains unsightly in our restroom. Some of the carpet very old and out dated. But rooms are clean. The kitchen needs a total new look Tables furniture. Patrons too close eating accommodations. The prices are increasing for some reasons unexplained. Recieved an additional 17.99 service charge? Came with the check out email receipt. As paying customers expect more physical appearance and disinfecting. Persons like the hotel but they do not want to feel cheated. They want their experience to be enjoyable. It is an large monetary value in the hotel arena and sometimes business owners lose their focus on the client or customers they are serving. There are enormous list of things to take into consideration when managing clients. Most customers want a nice clean environment with assess to electrical devises all kinds of necessary outlets especially for their work To be in an environment that is disturbing to them and their family or traveling group. Best Western can certainly help the stay to become more pleasant by being aware of staffing. Making sure someone is there and more attention to organization. We enjoy the stay sometimes better than others. But consistency is needed.

  Have stayed at Best Western many times and in particular in Richmond a number of times. Always experience has been satisfactory or better.
