  Spent one night, room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable, breakfast was decent and price was reasonable. Pool was open though I didn't use it, plenty of dining options nearby... would definitely stay again.

  The front desk service is great, but the gym doesn't really work. The treadmill is not lubricated, and the cleaning wipes are all dry and doesn't pull out at all. Breakfast is not so great. The orange juice dispenser was just mostly water. Personal drinks can be seen in the milk fridge.

  We were not very impressed. Middle of the road hotel. Will do if you can't find anything better.

  We were initially placed in room 216. We weren't satisfied at all. The 2nd floor had a musty smell in addition to room 216 bathroom showing black mold on the ceiling and shower area. Then we asked for the front desk to move us out room 216. We moved to the first floor room 109. This was a hassle since we were tired from traveling three hours. We do believe as paying customers we should've received better customer service in the first place. Best Western in Valley View, Roanoke, VA hasn't addressed us regarding this inconvenience. We are totally disappointed and my use other hotels going forward.

  I booked this room for two days with my 3 children while their brother is a carillon hospital for cancer treatment so my kids would be able to play in the pool and give them something to do. Both days the pool was closed saying being treated I asked several times when they would open it and no one knew. Very disappointing and had I known I would have went elsewhere!
