We stayed here in June 2026 while visiting Bryce Canyon and would absolutely stay again.
If you’re looking for a clean, affordable place with everything you need, Ruby’s Best Western is hard to beat. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained, and the location couldn’t be more convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park.
The biggest surprise was the breakfast buffet. It wasn’t your typical hotel breakfast…it was a full buffet with plenty of hot and cold options, and everything we tried was delicious. For our family of four, I honestly think it would have cost $50–60 if we’d paid for a similar breakfast at a restaurant. It was a tremendous value. And if you eat there, don’t forget to tip your server. - they work hard.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. It seemed like many of the employees were international students or seasonal workers, and they all did an outstanding job making guests feel welcome.
For the price, location, breakfast, and service, this place exceeded our expectations. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bryce Canyon.

Beautiful location. The rooms are separate from the main building (lodge). The rooms are nice, but have a motel feel. Ask for an upstairs room, if your on the bottom you will hear the people upstairs walking around. It will wake you up at night. The lodge has the in door swimming pool, hot tub and eating area. The hot tub was burning our eyes when we got in and was closed shortly after due to much chlorine. We came during a conference and they had us eat down at the Ebenezer Barn and Grill. Just know you may need to drive or walk a bit to get from place to place. Luckily you are in gorgeoes country.

Stay here for a Bryce visit with family (teens), really stay here.
Location- can't be beat. Minutes from Bryce. Near food and Icecream. And right next to the shuttle (we didn't take it, didn't have to, but its a great option).
Great for families. They have family rooms that can fit 2 teens comfortably.
Food- Buffet dinner was awesome, not 'that' expensive, and you have 2 salad bars to choose from beyond the proteins.
Breakfast buffet is included. Great selection, eggs are runny (take from the top, no issues). Coffee was great.
Near gas. reasonably priced.
Check in. Er, it may take a bit. Lots of Europeans who's english is way better than your german. But give yourself 10 extra minutes.
Water pressure. Yep, I went there. It will make you appreciate the 90s.
Parking. Great.

To start off we got our room right at 4 pm which is fine that's check in time. But we weren't given an option to check in early, even at a price. We stayed in the deer Lodge.
Upon going into the room, we were met with a musty smell of mildew, dust and dirt everywhere. I only know this because we're anal about cleaning our own room before we touch anything.
Every surface had to be wiped down before using due to the filth. Two pillow cases on one bed had noticeable stains/dirt on them to the point we wanted them exchanged. The sheet on the bed also had dirt and needed replaced.
The flooring was creaking really badly when waking across the room as well.
The bathroom was a disaster, all the tiles surrounding the toilet were loose or broken, grout missing or coming out of the floor and baseboards.
The shower had hardly any pressure and when turning the shower on it would actually sing to you. Flushing the toilet was always a surprise, sometimes it would go down other times maybe it wouldn't.
The next day we complained about the water pressure and singing. They changed out the mixing valve while we were gone for the day, came back and to our surprise there was no hot water and come to find out the entire building was now having hot water problems.
The maintenance people had to come into our room on numerous occasions that evening to make sure the shower was fixed correctly.
Went next door to Ruby's canyon diner for food and the staff wasn't exactly welcoming. I'll leave it at that.
All in all Ruby's inn is sad in terms of quality being that it is part of the best Western chain.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The location is excellent, very close to the park, and there is a convenient shuttle service right outside the hotel that goes directly into the park. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and has great amenities. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the steak was absolutely delicious.
What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the outstanding customer service.
We ran into a difficult situation one evening. We had left our car inside the park and taken the shuttle back to the hotel for dinner so we wouldn't have to search for parking again before sunset. All of our luggage was still in the car. Shuttle service was scheduled to operate until 8:00 PM, and we arrived at the shuttle stop around 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, no inbound shuttle ever arrived and no Uber or Lyft in the area, leaving us unable to get back to our vehicle before the park shuttle stopped running.
At that point, we were worried not only about missing sunset, but also about being separated from our car and all of our belongings.
When we explained the situation to the front desk, Alexis immediately stepped in to help. Even though this was not really the hotel's responsibility, he took the time to understand our situation, consulted with his manager, and arranged for a maintenance staff member to drive us back into the park.
His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond completely saved our evening. Alexis helped solve a problem that he did not have to solve, and we are incredibly grateful for his effort and care.
Thank you, Alexis, for turning a stressful situation into a positive memory. Employees like you make a huge difference. We would absolutely stay here again.
