They didn’t have coffee cups. I the morning when I when down for breakfast and I wanted to get a coffee. They had coffee but they didn’t had coffee cups 😢

Horrible experience from start to finish.
One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it advertised EV charging. Upon arrival, we discovered there was only a single charging stall, and it was not even functional. It felt misleading, as though the amenity was advertised simply to attract EV owners without actually providing a usable charging option.
The problems continued at check-in. We specifically requested a higher-floor room and were assigned one on the 4th floor. However, when we reached the elevator, we found it was out of service with no repair personnel on site. It is unclear why guests were still being assigned rooms on higher floors when the elevator was not working.
We returned to the front desk and requested a room on the first floor, only to be told that none were available. The situation was made worse by the lack of professionalism and friendliness from the reception staff, who seemed more inconvenienced than concerned about resolving the issue.
Ultimately, we had no choice but to cancel our reservation and find accommodations elsewhere. Between the misleading EV charging advertisement, the broken elevator, and the poor customer service, this was an extremely disappointing experience that I would not recommend to other travelers.

I strongly advise calling before showing up. Despite check-in time being at 3pm. My room was not ready until 4:40pm. So I wasted time in the lobby waiting for my room to be ready. The receptionist didn’t tell me that the room wasn’t ready until AFTER she ran my card for the room deposit. Terrible service. Room was standard. Nothing spectacular. Walls are thin.

On 5-18-26 I booked a king suite for check in on 5-18 check out 5-19 requested late check in upon arrival at 3am I requested a stay over. Got up at 8am had a 9pm meeting on the jobsite was told to be in Galveston that nxt morning so I made it back to the hotel to check out and the front desk manager told me I couldn't even though it was well before the initial check out of 11am. She was very rude very unprofessional her shouting at me in the Fourier. I only requested that they did not bill me for another night and she started off and said they already had. She stated no refund I called best Western customer service they said nothing they could do because the hotel was private owned. I used to stay here all the time for business I will never stay here again. BEST WESTERN 333 ROLAND AVE SAN ANTONIO TX BOB PATEL OWNER VERY UNPROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP THERE ON PAYROLL.......
