  Ok - good things first: room was nice and big, plenty of space. Even had 2 tvs. Pool was ok, but seriously, 3 1/2 feet isn't deep enough. There was a bbq grill available - great to have. Only problem was the heat shield between the burners and propane tank was missing (which is dangerous) . Snack store they had was good selection, the free hot breakfast was....ok. My only real criticism was the AC in the 3rd floor hallway didnt seem to be working, it was like....113 that day. Fortunately the AC in the room worked well. Would come back if I ever decided to go back to Killeen

  I must say I wasted my points to partially pay for this room. I didn’t realize this was the same hotel my fiancée booked in May. He got stuck on the elevator, had to be moved from 2nd floor due to issue with room and loud guest above him and then we were woken between 4-5a by loud guest on 3rd floor which someone called front desk on because shortly after being woke up we could hear front desk knocking at their door. When I pulled in and saw this was the same hotel I instantly regretted it but tried to be optimistic. Upon checkin I asked for 3rd floor and was told only thing available was 1st floor. I then asked to confirm that I paid for late checkout at 1p. I was told late checkout is 11a. $40 for 1 hour!!! I informed front desk I screenshot what was advertised as an add on in the text they sent me to check in. It didn’t say 11a-1p it said 1p. I was told she would ask the manager and get back with me. After coming back for night I stopped by to ask so I could be prepared this morning and was told Dora the manager would give me noon although I showed the screenshot of the time it showed on the text from Best Western. Upon entering the room it smelled like there had been a water issue in there. Being in real estate we immediately saw where there appeared to be a possible flood in that room based on the water on base boards. Front desk had already told me that was the only room left at check in and that I could t cancel reservation without having to pay for the night. This morning I get up to shower and realize there are no towels besides the hand towel by the bathroom sink. My fiancée went to front desk and was told they would have housekeeping come. After waiting a few minutes while front desk was having a conversation with housekeeping I got dressed and walked down to the opposite end of the hall where they were to ask for towels as they are having a conversation while we are waiting for towels. My room key card was also disabled 25 minutes earlier than the noon checkout which we found out when my fiancée took some our bags to the car on the backside of the hotel so he had to walk around to the front entrance to get back in. Luckily I was still on the room gathering the remainder items. I will say this wasn’t the best visit. But we paid for a lesson. The location was convenient to highway access and restaurants.

  Extremely close to restaurants. Honestly wish they had full size soaps in the shower.

  I just had the best experience with Juma at the front desk. I was coming in to town and had to change reservations made through third party that would not help. Juma made it happen and changed my reservation. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service.

  I recently stayed for three nights at the Best Western Killeen Ft. Hood, and while the physical hotel itself is decent enough, the sheer disorganization at the front desk completely ruined the experience. On our second night, while out visiting family, I received a bizarre phone call from the front desk asking if we had ever actually checked in. I confirmed that we had checked in two days prior, and the staff member said okay and hung up. When we returned to the hotel late that night, our room keys didn't work. When we went to the front desk, we discovered that whoever checked us in on day one completely messed up the system entry. Even though my bank portal clearly showed a pending charge for the full 3-night stay, the hotel claimed they had marked us as a "no-show" and only charged a $100 fee. She handed me receipts that completely contradicted what was happening on my actual bank statement. To make matters worse, because of their system error, they had assigned our room to another guest. That guest actually entered our room while we were out, realized our stuff was in there, and had to go back down to report it was occupied. Having a stranger walk into a room holding our personal belongings is unacceptable. The front desk employee certainly didn't lead with an apologetic vibe, though she eventually admitted the situation wasn't my fault. They did eventually issue us a new room key, but dealing with an administrative mess and security lapse late at night was a huge, unnecessary hassle. As for the rest of the hotel: The Room: Fine enough for a budget stay. Clean, no bugs or issues. Breakfast: The breakfast tacos served one morning were actually pretty good. Amenities: One set of washers and dryers was out of order, but the working set got the job done once we managed to snag it. The property itself is okay, but the front desk operations and billing confusion need serious work. I wouldn’t risk staying here again if you want a hassle-free trip.
