  Probably one of the nicest best westerns I have ever stayed at. We travelled from Houston to help our little freshman move in to her dorm at TWU. Campus is about a 10 min drive from the hotel. When we arrived the room was 78 degrees, not a big deal, but had to wait an hour or 2 for the room to cool down. They do have free breakfast but the options are slim. The morning we ate breakfast there were only waffles, sausage and hash browns to choose from. Of course I was craving eggs that day. All in all would totally stay here again

  Attempted to stay here last night, and left to stay somewhere else due to a roach crawling into the bed with us. No refund given and it’s been a full day. No contact from the manager. Was told “we’ll see what management says” after calling asking to get any communication. I’m jumping through hoops to get my money back over a situation that isn’t my fault and is a huge issue on the hotels part.

  Stayed for 2 nights in denton. First room had huge red stain on rug in front of couch a straw was left on couch and finalky red stain on white comforter after pulling off thin white cover. No one checks rooms before they give you a room. Also showered had hair and black crumbs. Went down to complain about stain on rug. Did not want to be blamed for it since they tske 40 dollars up front before you see the room. The front desk girl offered to give me a free anything to eat or drink. I accepted an icecream. This was before I saw how dirty shower was or bedding. So had to switch rooms. Then evidentally it is OK to smoke by the pool and some old guy has a dog with no colar walking around while others smoke at the table with him. This hapoened both nights. I got to pool early the second evening. But after the dog and smoking started I exited the pool. Then at 1 am people where yelling in hall way. So no sleeping till 2 in the morning. I should have not been charged for second night because of all the noise. I have stayed in a hotel in Colorado and if it was noisy you do not pay for the night. The smoking was really disturbing. And no notes or clock on the room to tell you you have complimentary water and how to get to pool. No written TV guide. No written guide to call front desk. Never been in a hotel that did not have written information. The breakfast was horrible. Eggs sooo salty you will get hypertension from just tasting. Sausage also too salty. My fridge was missing the freezer door part so everything I put in it froze. I just hope that dog does not bite any child or person because it is not on a leash and this hotel can get sued.

  They are very customer friendly they treat everyone with respect the onlt real problem I had is the breakfast area where the food is at isn't very wheelchair friendly to reach items or to make the waffles and wish they would do sausage links nd have bacon on the weekends the pool area is great and so is the hot tub
