  This hotel is located right downtown next to the police station. There is a park a block away as well as many restaurants of different types. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean staff is friendly and it is a full breakfast Buffet

  Visit the only hotel that you not treated like a guest but rather family. Kind, caring, courteous, professional, and attentive staff will assure a perfect stay in their clean, well appointed and perfect Hotel which is only steps from everything you can possibly need from shopping, dining, and entertainment, you get it all!

  Great place to stay. Clean and quiet. Walking distance to great restaurants and everything. Great location. Would recommend this place for everyone.

  Pros - check-in was very smooth and very quick and the gentleman behind the desk was very pleasant and very helpful in getting us checked in and everything ready when we arrived - the lobby is very nice and the rooms were excellent - a mini fridge and a microwave in the room and lots of outlets between the beds so no issues there - the beds were very comfortable - the bathroom again was very nice the one thing that I loved is the shower has a curved arm for the shower curtains - and my pet peeve that this hotel has is they have a fan which takes away the exhaust from the shower which was fantastic - I loved the historical photos on each floor of the local area in Wilkes-Barre Cons - the hallways the different floors are quite dated from the 80s and 90s - they could definitely use newer brighter paint and newer carpeting - the lobby area could also get an update with a little more modern lighting and look without impacting the charm of the lobby

  This was a great location to stop on our drive from Cape Cod to Pittsburgh. The hotel is as advertised, clean, great location, walkable to many local eateries and convenience stores. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful (Looking at Chris in particular). Free onsite parking, pet friendly for a reasonable rate and a very good brekfast to get you going. There was a pool which looked very nice as well.
