  We were at this location for two days vacation coming from Scranton. We were surprised about how nice is the hotel and the pool. Breakfast was excellent.

  We arrived early around 12 noon and were told we could check in early at 1pm. We returned at 1 and the clerk said it's going to be a little bit longer. We returned at 2 to a different clerk behind the desk who informed us the suite we had booked wouldnt be ready until 5pm or later because the prior guest paid for late check out. This was absolutely unacceptable as we had dinner reservations and a show we were seeing that night and my husband and I needed to shower and change. We wound up having to be downgraded to a standard room. We reserved that room specifically for my birthday as a treat. Needless to say we were very disappointed. The housekeeping manager was very helpful and apologetic. But this should have never happened. Will think twice before booking again.

  Friendly, clean, easy access to local sights and shops make this a wonderful place to stay in the Wilks Barre area. Plus the breakfast they provide is delicious and the pool area is delightful.

  We stayed here twice as a stopover point between Boston and Pittsburgh. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very attentive. I wanted to give special notice to the complimentary breakfast buffet and recognition to the women who prepared the food. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was by far the best hotel breakfast I ever had. Note the tables were preset with actual silverware and napkins. No plastic utensils or paper plates used here.
