We stayed at the Best Western Plus Intercourse Village Inn & Suites for my daughter’s birthday weekend and honestly had such a wonderful experience!
I read some reviews beforehand saying the hotel looked “outdated,” but I completely disagree. To me, it felt charming, cozy, and fitting for the historical atmosphere of the town. It added character rather than feeling modern and cookie-cutter.
The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING with so many options — waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, fruit, granola, and more. Everything was fresh and well stocked.
The kids absolutely LOVED the pool, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi with my husband and sister. The hotel was also extremely clean, which is always one of the biggest things for me when traveling with family. If you’re planning to use the pool, definitely bring extra towels because people are quick to grab them, along with floaties and pool toys for the kids.
The front desk staff were incredibly sweet and helpful during our stay, and our housekeeper Lexus even left the cutest handwritten note in our room which made our stay feel extra personal and welcoming.
One thing I will say honestly is that the mattresses could definitely be more comfortable, and I think the term “suite” may be a little misleading since it’s more of an extended room setup with a pull-out couch rather than a fully separate suite space. It was also a little pricey, but we honestly expected that with it being a holiday weekend.
The hotel also had great amenities including a gym, laundry area, fire pit, basketball court, built-in café, spa, and cozy fireplace areas to lounge around and relax. If you’re traveling with kids, definitely bring a few activities because there are so many nice spaces for families to enjoy together.
The location is perfect — surrounded by shops, horse and buggy rides, and so many family-friendly attractions nearby. We visited several fun places with the kids all within close driving distance.
Overall, this was such a memorable and relaxing two-day getaway for our family, and we would absolutely love to come back again someday!
