The lady at the front desk called the owner to find the perfect room for our needs. She treated us like family! We'd gladly choose this hotel again!
Edited- after response from owner…
My son was trying to protect me from a bio-hazard situation, as I have a serious autoimmune disease, and he didn’t think I should be waiting in that uncleaned room, while the guy in charge tried to figure out what to do with us. The employee did not feel comfortable switching us to another room, while the system was down. My son was concerned that a solution was not being found, quickly enough. He panicked, and he is a young adult, who had never been in a situation like that. He regretted the tone, and the words that he used. This was a learning lesson for him. Your employee came at my son as well, with some aggression for the way my son spoke to him. This was in front of me in the parking lot. That is when I no longer felt safe to stay at the BW any longer.
We let the front desk know about the used bandaid, white-ish stuff on the night stand next to where we would be laying our heads, and the yellow-ish stain on the bedding. Because their “system was down” the guy in charge (not a manager) could not move us to another room, as he stated he wouldn’t know which rooms were available. We gave him time to try to resolve the issue, but it was really late and we needed to get some rest, so we could drive the next day. Eventually my son and I just had to leave. The guy in charge and my son exchanged some words, at that point we did not feel safe to stay. The guy was in the parking lot when we left. I have requested a refund as we left at 11:30pm and did not stay the night. I have not yet been refunded.

Brianna was amazing.
We are on a road trip and got in very late with our dog. She gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful. She was doing double duty as in the morning she filled in for someone and had the breakfast buffet ready for guests.
Room and bathroom were clean and well stocked. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
Great job Brianna. God bless you

The rooms were not ready at 4pm. Coffeee cups were used in our room. Flooring was coming up in our “suite “. This hotel
Definitely has potential but really needs some help. We have been BW members for years. This place was the worse we have experienced. Breakfast was gross. Pool cloudy. Terrible experience. Room had flys everywhere.

I've been on a 4 week long road trip, so trust me when I say that I've stayed in some weird and run down places recently. This place was the ONLY one where I was upset enough to raise an issue to staff or leave a review.
We got in late after an entire day of driving and all we wanted to do was heat up our leftovers for dinner and go to sleep ASAP so we could wake up early to hit the road. We literally booked this place just so we would have a microwave and a place to sleep. When we got in, our room keys did not work and we had to hunt down the one employee on site to get him to fix it (and we still only had one working key). 20 minute delay right there.
Room quality wise it was on the lower side but not the worst (beds are hard as a rock though), but despite paying $125 for a room very clearly listed as having a fridge and microwave, there was no microwave in the room. There was a large empty space where there was obviously supposed to be a microwave, but it was missing. We try to use the phone to call the desk, rings for 5 minutes, doesn't work. Fine, whatever. We go BACK to the front lobby (which we were on the opposite side of the property from), hunt down the one employee again, and tell him the situation. At this point we are irritated, hungry, and exhausted because we already planned to be asleep by now. Guy says that he can go try to get a microwave from maintenance and test it and bring it up, which would have involved him coming back to our room likely after 1 in the morning (if he even found one that worked), and that other than that there's "nothing he can do". Not an acceptable answer. We push and ask if there's a microwave that we can use just so we can finally eat and go to bed and he lets us back into an employee only area to use that microwave.
What really drove me to write this review was the response of who I assume was the manager the next morning. After breakfast (which was subpar), I went over there to tell her about the situation and that I expected something to be done about the fact that we paid for a room with amenities we did not recieve, and she started going on about how there should have been a room service offered for someone to come take and heat up our food for us and listing off other services they offered that we didn't need or care about. Not sure how that 'room service' is supposed to work when the phone doesn't work and there is no employee to do it. She essentially told us that as long as we ultimately got access to a microwave it was fine and the hotel didn't have to do anything about it. Once again, not an acceptable answer. Having to use the employee microwave was an extreme inconvenience, substantially delayed us in getting to sleep, and only happened because WE were insistent about needing to heat up our food. It was absolutely not equivalent to having a microwave in the room. I don't care what should have happened or what services they allegedly offer, the fact of the matter is that we paid for amenities that we did not receive and were not compensated in any way. I would never stay at this hotel again.
