Lol 🤣 are you a paid actor? Well what ever happens at check in tomorrow I'm not gonna worry about it,, everywhere has good & bad, and plus we know what were getting into just risking going to the hotel,, next time look at the area, look what the area provides, talk to the staff before proceeding if it ain't your cup of tea the first 5 minutes walk away.

My girlfriend and I arrived there around midnight. I had made the reservation a couple of hours earlier. He asked, "do you have any pets?" I said yes. He tells me about the pet fee. I hand my card to him. He runs it. As I am about to finalize and sign it, he asks how many pets we have. I tell him, and he goes "ABSOLUTELY NOT!! You can't have more than ONE animal!!" I tell him that the website doesn't say that, and that it says two dogs are allowed. He says their official website is wrong. The entire time, he was wearing a covid mask, so i could not see what his face looked like. After he refused our reservation, I attempted to call the corporate number to talk to someone. They give me the number back to the front desk. I call it, not knowing it was the front desk, when he answered, I asked for his name so I could say "X refused me, I want a refund." He hung up on me halfway through my question. I re-entered to ask for his name, again, and he started yelling at me that he was calling the cops, so I began recording on my phone. He still never gave me his name. I waited around for the police to arrive. When they arrived, one talked to him and one spoke with me. When speaking with the cops, I showed them my video and even they were like, "this is dumb. You're in a dangerous part of town. You should leave." This is the second MAJOR issue, and by far the most egregious and disgusting customer interaction I have ever been apart of. I wasn't aggressive. I wasn't screaming. I wasn't cursing at him. I even said, "I just want your name, brother, so I can say who said I was refused service." Completely unacceptable. When I contacted Best Western on social media, the manager there (who i have left a message to call me) told them that they attempted to call me "three times." I have zero missed calls that I haven't returned. The Best Western there is trash. The person working the counter was trash. He attempted to use the Tulsa police department as his own, personal bully squad instead of just giving me his name. No accountability. No apology. No communication. Beyond unacceptable. I wish I could give zero stars.
To update, the hotel manager replied with this, lame, generic response: "Dear Matthew,
We're truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Your feedback is very important to us, and our team is already looking into the concerns you've raised to make prompt improvements. We would welcome the chance to earn back your trust and provide you with a better experience in the future.
Sincerely,
Hotel Manager"
There was NO stay. Your employee illegally used the police to bully me. Nobody has taken accountability. If you want a chance to earn my business back, immediately terminate the employee who used Tulsa PD to bully me instead of having a simple conversation. According to Best Western customer service on twitter, you have lied to them about how you have handled this. Danny, you run a slum motel with at least one rude and disrespectful employee, and judging by the other reviews, my experience isn't a one-off.
