  The cleanliness of the property was entirely unacceptable. Upon arrival, the trash can by the front doors was overflowing onto the floor and remained that way for our entire stay. The lobby floors were stained and dirty, the counter was dusty, and the hallway carpets and tile appeared neglected and sticky. Our concern about the rooms was confirmed when my parents found blood on their unchanged sheets. My room's sheets were also dirty and contained hair. A staff member, Shawn, was very helpful and apologetic, allowing us to inspect several other rooms. Unfortunately, those rooms also had unmade beds, unvacuumed carpets, and filthy mirrors. We had to look at multiple rooms before finding ones that at least had clean sheets. This was a terrible experience for what should have been a special celebration. While I appreciate Shawn’s excellent customer service and efforts to help us, the overall state of the hotel was unacceptable

  Our rooms were not made up, nor new towels in place, toilet seat was broken, carpets dirty and phone did not work. Screens not on winfows and the sheers were ripped possibally by a cat. Overall it was not up to BW standards.

  We have come to this hotel with a large party for close to 20 years. It has always been the nicest hotel in the area. In the last two years this place has taken a dramatic decline. The rooms are not kept in repair with broken key card locks, toilets that constantly run, unfinished patches in walls, etc. The rooms are old and tired and not well kept up with. Oh and the AC smells like mildew. What makes this place a no go for us is the staffing. When we checked in, one of the rooms wasn’t made up. We told the front desk person and he said he would take care of it. When we came back in half an hour, he seemed to have completely forgotten our conversation and I had to explain the issue again. The cleaning staff is dressed like they just came out of an episode of Breaking Bad, I was actually happy to see they didn’t clean our room after the first night as I didn’t want them in there. I spoke to some local family as well as a local business owner and they said the place was bought by someone a few years ago and they have heard it has gone to hell since then. I will be surprised to see this hotel in business in five years if it continues to decline at the rate it has. It is quite simply becoming a dump. After all these years this was our last stay here, we will find someplace else further away that is in better shape and well run.

  Great location but this hotel needs allot of help. - the hotel is run down and most things are broken - the beds are super tall and skinny don’t recommend two people on one bed. The pillows are also a joke looks like and similar to the size of a cotton swab bags. - breakfast is a joke, fill up on just eggs, sausage, and bread - lack of a pool for kids but does have a hot tub with grit at the bottom. - most rooms require a hard key for you to enter so hopefully you don’t lose it. - good luck using the computer. It’s soooo slow -laundry cost more than advertised it says $3 for washer and $3 for dryer. Charged $8 each, still pending but the lady at the counter says $5 will be reimbursed back once the charge goes through.

  I arrived yesterday afternoon for CMAC bringing myself after a very difficult and hard year to relax, unwind and have time by myself I had no TV service last night nor this morning through direct TV. Weather is perfect. NOTHING has changed with the TV screen .after I realized later I waa lied to when I had to go downstairs at 930 pm to talk to someone who told me at the desk they were switching their TV provider over ,a tech was working on it to which I thought who does this at night with several guests!! I cancelled the microtel to be closer! That looked brand new driving by I realize later I had to call several several times to try to talk to somebody at the desk because of the TV, so I called the desk. well, they weren't answering it, and I think it was on purpose, and that's why they were outside, the individual who was working, because they didn't want to deal with it. If I didn't want to completely ruin my time And if there was open availability, I would move myself out of here today. The AC barely works, it's old, it scared the crap out of me after I fell asleep, it startled me . it's constantly turning on and off, extremely loud and it doesn't cool the room off sufficiently. I wondered why it was set to 60 when I got in Unless you absolutely have to I wouldn't. it looks like they did a really good job at recently redoing this place because I knew right away tt was a flip because the ac unit is extremely old. the breakfast area looks nice. My room seemed to be clean but as I leave this review, I'm wondering if I should wait. To see What I'm told and how the rest of the day goes, because I'm here tonight too. I'm not happy, and it doesn't take much to make me happy, because I'm here and not somewhere else.
