  The room was not very clean. The dresser drawers were dirty. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator barely worked and was missing the rack in the door. This was an old motel/hotel. I think they had new owners. The staff was nice and accommodating. The room rate was reasonable.

  This place is amazingly friendly for people who have pets. We stayed 2 different nights and the 2nd time you could tell the floors were disinfected which was a plus. The complementary breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. The staff is so very friendly and caring. A+++

  This place was amazing! Very clean, no smells. Perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the front desk was very nice and attentive (scott) This town is a good spot to take pics of the route 66!!

  This is the second time my husband and I (and our dog) have stayed here. We WILL NOT stay here again. The room was so dirty! The floor looks like it was either never mopped or mopped with a dirty mop. There were stains on the tiles all over, stains on the walls, doors. Everything I touched was sticky or greasy (remote, door lock, bathroom door, microwave, etc. ). It’s a shame because we love the attached patio on some of the rooms, and the dog area was decent. The staff is very friendly. That’s where the positives stop. I’m not looking for a modern room or and luxury. But there is no excuse of any hotel to have a dirty room especially when I paid more than $150 for the room. Gross!!!

  I would give this establishment a minus stars if I could! Upon check in, we were not greeted with a happy associate, we were greeted a mean unhappy individual. Her name was Amber. She was so unfriendly that it set a mood that was unpleasant. We got our room keys and headed to our room. As soon as we approached our room, we found the door was open and the lights was on. We immediately checked to make sure nobody was in there. Since the door was open and the lights were on, it attracted bugs, ie mosquitoes, moths, and a lot of little flying bugs I could not identify. The bed was not made, pillows strung all over. Everywhere but the bed. We tried to work with this because we were tired and had been on the road for 8+ hours. When we got settled we tried to turn on the TV. There was no power to it. We found the plug in and TV was plugged in but wouldn't work. The exhaust fan came on but made a high screeching sound that was awful and at this point we decided we needed a different room. I tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work on our end. I went all the way down to the front desk to tell Amber about what was going on. Apparently on her end, she could hear me trying to call her but on my end I couldn't. She asked me for my room # and I told her, then in a hateful tone she told me that she could not answer the phone because she had customers checking in. She said she tried to call me 4 times but I wouldn't answer. I explained to her I had headed all the way down to the front desk so I couldn't answer. Her tone was so mean it aggravated me. I explained my problem and she wouldn't listen. She tried to tell me my TV was off because of the storm. We didn't have a storm, all we had was a little rain shower. She told me to just wait and see if TV would come back on. At this point, I walked away When I made it back up to the room my husband said the phone did ring 4 times, and each time he TRIED to answer but phone wouldn't work. We both decided we wanted a different room. So we head ALL the way back down to the front desk to tell Amber we wanted a different room. My husband and Amber had the same conversation as her and I did and he then said "This is bullshit". She immediately claimed that he was cussing her out, and she didn't need that from a customer. He explained he wasn't cussing her out he was merely stating a fact. We asked for a different room and she lied to us and said the place was booked up. It wasn't. If you want a bad experience stay here. If you want a better experience please go somewhere else! The front desk associate upon checkout was a sweet girl. Her name was Annette and I wish we had her during our check in. This hotel needs better maintenance, and a different employee without an attitude. Amber has no business dealing with the public.
