This Best Western Premier was hands down the highlight of our entire trip!
We stayed at other hotels in Manhattan during our visit, and honestly, they were such a letdown compared to the experience we had here. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed by Alex, who was absolutely fabulous. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about helping us make the most of our trip. The entire staff went out of their way to look out for our best interests and make sure we had everything we needed.
One of the best tips they shared was the shuttle service into the city. For just $4 each way, it was an incredible value and saved us a fortune. Whatever you do, don’t spend $60–$80 on an Uber when this convenient and affordable option is available! The staff explained everything clearly and made transportation stress-free.
We also want to recognize Karen in the breakfast area. She was so accommodating, incredibly kind, and always greeted us with a smile. She made every morning a pleasant start to our day, and we were truly grateful for her hospitality.
The combination of exceptional customer service, helpful local knowledge, comfortable accommodations, and genuine kindness made this hotel stand out above every other place we stayed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The only reason we stayed was for the proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel and the shuttle, which you book and pay for yourself .The overall impression was macabre.

The breakfast is very expensive and kids do NOT eat free. The options were okay, but it was cheaper to go to any of the neighboring restaurants.
The pool & gym is on the 5th floor. No one tell you that and the elevators do not have it labeled.
The pool is also 4 ft 6 in all around, there is no gradual increase, so keep that in mind if you have little kids.
Certain TV channels were in Spanish with no option to change it back to English. I could not watch the Spurs double OT game (on NBC) in Spanish, so I ended up streaming it on my phone.
The entrance is directly on a VERY busy 2-way NJ parkway. Some may say thats convenient, I say its dangerous.
The rooms were okay. Small in comparison to many hotels but they are clean. No bedbugs any other issues you see in nearby hotels.
Im dont think im a hotel snob - I typically go to Holiday Inns, Tru, Sheraton, Residence Inn, Hampton Inn, etc. I typically look for (free) breakfast, pools and rooms comfortable for my family with kids.
If you have kids, I'd say pass on this hotel.
If you are a solo or business traveler, this hotel is a good budget friendly option.
Had a room booked for two days, from May 19-21 unfortunately we had to cancel 10 hours before check in. We didn’t expect a full refund. We were trying for a date change or credit for later this year. Management refused to do anything at all. We even explained it was a medical emergency and could provide documentation. We have always booked rooms at Best Western from Canada and the US, we will have to rethink that going forward.
