  A great stay, the facility was clean and in great shape. The service was excellent, the breakfast was as expected.

  Like the other reviews- this really is a gem of a Best Western in many ways. And if you are reading this, you have probably been at a lot of hotels of this class, across various interstates in the US- trust me, this will be a lovely and welcome surprise. And yes, it has a hot tub! Not sure why that is not more clear on their website as it is a lovely feature to have after a long drive.

  I’ll start by saying if you want a decent budget friendly no frills hotel here’s your stop. We booked this room knowing this was not a 5 star high quality experience. We just needed a place to rest overnight- that being said I do have a few recommendations moving forward. The lobby when I stepped in smelled heavily of soiled feces. I know this hotel is pet friendly as I brought my own dog but something was not right up front. I love that they accommodate our 4 legged friends but it was very off putting and made me feel uncomfortable right off the bat. We did see a conference room with a few kids and parents in it. There were scattered used diapers laying around on the floor. I know this is not necessarily the hotels fault but they should know it affects incoming guests. Luckily our room was far from the front desk and had no issues whatsoever with smell. The desk receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Secondly- I didn’t expect immaculate rooms but I did expect cleanliness. The shower exhaust fan had bugs in the lighting, grime in the grout and the shower drain left you standing in 2-3 inches of water. Not ideal. Water pressure was fine but temperature was lukewarm at best. The room was fine on quick inspection. Bed was comfortable no complaints there. Location was great. Nice dog yard that was well maintained. (No landmines) It would be nice to have it fenced in since it’s so close to a main highway but that is not a huge concern of mine. Overall if you just need a place to lay your head this is a decent stop. Just don’t expect much.
