Wish I could say the hospitality matched the overall experience in Whitefish. Our group had three children under 2.5, who traveled over 1,600 miles to be here. On two occasions during daytime hours, the front desk (Alexandra) scolded our entire group for being too loud. Mind you, the first occasion was in the "Game Room" at 6pm.
The second occasion was 12pm in our hotel room, while trying to have lunch. We are in town during the Spokane wildfire outbreak and the front desk again tells our children to quiet down and not to be disruptive. The Air Quality Index registers as Unhealthy; so please advise where else we should try to eat our lunch, as you've already shamed our children in the game room. The breakfast hall is closed after 930, and is the only other public space to utilize. Neither occasion was this directed to any adult in the room.
You claim your hotel is family friendly, however, your front desk was our first impression of hospitality in this town and is clearly the opposite of what you advertise. We will return to Whitefish, but will take our business to the Hampton down the road next time.

Not impressed, promised one price when rooms were confirmed only to be charged differently at checkout. Also were denied shuttle services.

Great atmosphere and supreme comfortable bed. Breakfast and Staff are great.
I chose this hotel after reading the positive Google reviews and because of its convenient location for visiting Glacier National Park. I expected a comfortable, hassle-free stay, but unfortunately, that wasn't our experience.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the housekeeping service was extremely disappointing. We checked in late and didn't realize until the next morning that one of the beds had dirty sheets. After notifying the front desk, housekeeping came to replace the sheets, but only made the one bed we specifically mentioned and left the second bed unmade, which felt unnecessarily careless.
The following day, we returned expecting our room to have been cleaned and our towels replaced, but nothing had been done. No fresh towels were provided, and the room had not been serviced at all. If housekeeping is only provided upon request, that policy should be clearly communicated to every guest at check-in.
I was traveling with my elderly parents, and it was frustrating to have to repeatedly go to the front desk to request basic necessities like towels, soap, or room service. Guests shouldn't have to chase down housekeeping during their stay.
It's unfortunate because the hotel's common areas appeared clean and well maintained, and the location is convenient. However, based on our experience with housekeeping, I would not recommend staying here unless you're comfortable with little to no room service during your visit.
