  Very nice hotel and the staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to make my crews stay comfortable. My only complaint is the pool was dirty and the room was small for a suite.

  We had a roadside emergency with a trailer while passing through. The manager at this location was amazing. Brian, got a room situated for us while we worked through the process of repairs.

  I recently stayed at Best Western New Albany and had a generally decent experience. While there were several positives that made the stay comfortable, there were also a few issues that prevented it from being a higher-rated visit. One of the highlights of my stay was Justin at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. He greeted me with a friendly attitude, answered my questions patiently, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Customer service can make a huge difference when traveling, and Justin definitely helped create a positive first impression of the hotel. The room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, and I appreciated the convenient location of the property. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, and the hotel seemed generally well-maintained in the common areas. For the price, it offered fair value and covered the basic necessities for a short stay. However, there were a couple of drawbacks that stood out. The most noticeable issue was a strange musty smell in the room. It wasn't overwhelming, but it was persistent enough that I noticed it throughout my stay. The odor gave the room a somewhat dated feeling and made it seem like the ventilation or carpeting could use some attention. Another disappointment was the fitness room. I specifically look for hotels with workout facilities when I travel, so it was frustrating to find that every piece of workout equipment in the fitness center was broken or out of order. Whether you're trying to get in a quick workout or maintain a fitness routine while traveling, the gym was essentially unusable during my stay. This is something the hotel should address as soon as possible. Overall, my stay was not bad, and there were certainly aspects I enjoyed—especially the excellent customer service provided by Justin. However, the musty room odor and the nonfunctional fitness equipment kept the experience from being truly great. With some updates to the fitness center and improvements to room freshness, this hotel could provide a much better experience for future guests. I'd consider staying here again if those issues were addressed, but for now I'd rate it a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

  I had a wonderful stay at Best Western New Albany. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly and professional service. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of traveling. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and convenient, and I also appreciated the easy check-in process and great location near restaurants and local attractions. The overall atmosphere felt welcoming and safe throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Albany and will gladly stay here again in the future!

  First Justin was amazing, he was overly accommodating and made sure we were very well taken care of. The room itself was clean but def ran through. Our first room had a horrible stench to it, like mildew or something very nasty, we switched rooms and the smell was gone. The manager does shady business so be very specific in what you get and what is agreed upon. He increased the price once we arrived and due to receiving bad reviews from our large party he tried to lie and spread rumors about our party and hold everyone accountable and over charge for fake damage fees etc. He also charged an additional $15/person for breakfast and it was not worth it at all. Overall I would say the location is convenient to the highway and local stores and restaurants. However, the hotel itself is def a 2 star quality. And very over priced.
