  I look for three things in a hotel, is it clean? Is the shower warm in the drain isn’t clogged. And more importantly, is it quiet when I want to rest and sleep. In the Washington Missouri, Best Western exceeded my expectations.

  My fiancee booked a room many months in advance so as to spend the night before our wedding apart as part of the “not see the bride before the wedding.” She arrived the eve of our wedding and was told that the room she booked, months ago, was given to someone else! The did not ring but tell her “oh well” and don’t even want to look at or see the signed contract for said room. Then apparently proceeded to have the desk service person cuss at them when they were trying to figure out why this happened!!! They denied any wrong doing though would not honor the signed contract! Liars and cheats as well as horrible service and people!!

  The hot tub was so green you could only see half way down, showed them the picture, The desk attendant said thats normal. If someone drowned and sank no one would notice until the next guess stepped on their body, im pretty certain pools and hot tubs are required to have visibility to prevent such accidents. Im pretty sure there used to be a light in the hot tub stairs, desk attendant says there wasnt. The pool and hot tub both seemed overfilled, with the water obscuring their depth markers. The pool was also really cold, none of the jets were working, and you can see in the pics that there is dirty stuff on the bottom. The door that leads from the pool room to the outside, the lock was busted off, so we got stuck outside when we went thru that door. The security camera outside of that door was also busted, with a random giant brick sitting there? The desk attendant seemed skeptical, they said their monitor was working fine! Considering a woman was criminally unalived in their parking lot a few years ago, I am shocked they would be so lax on security concerns. They seemed shocked when I showed them the picture. In our room, there were 4 spots for fire protection sprinklers. Only 1 had the sprinkler head attached, the other 3 were just holes in the wall. Desk attendant said thats fine, maybe they got lost in a renovation, but that they would still work just like normal. That does not seem like correct information to me. Christy Nevills from customer relations reached out to me and said the camera is actually covered with a spider web, but that looks pretty shattered to me! She always said the sprinkler heads were unnecessary decorations. They didnt seem to take any of my concerns seriously.

  It was fantastic. We took the train from Kirkwood to Washington, Missouri. And we arrived at like super early in the morning and for us to be able to move on with our day we really needed a place to put our luggage and medicine and such and the young man Greg at the desk was so nice and was able to accommodate us. It worked out even better than we planned. We ended up getting a suite because we are a rewards customers and didn’t even realize that we had that benefit. I highly recommend this location as well because it was just right in the center of everything you could possibly need or want

  Pros Spacious room Microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker in the room Comfortable mattress Good, supportive pillows Quiet air conditioning unit Exceptional shower head with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water Excellent complimentary breakfast with a wide variety of options, including a specialty coffee machine Quiet overall Aside from the strong dog odor, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Cons Room had a very strong dog odor Sink was unusually loud when running
