  Older facility, not very clean. Close to Fort Leonard Wood. Lots of small black drain flies in the room. A/C was weak, but tolerable. On the second day (of 3 reserved) we woke up to no water in the room and no cable TV. Went to ask, and was told they “don’t want to call the plumber. He’s resting”. At 10 AM. They did offer to move us to a different room, but rather than pack up, change rooms, then pack again, we checked out a day early. Asked for a receipt but they refused because it was reserved through a third party. Tried getting a refund through them, through Best Western customer advocate and also through the third party. All requests were denied, even though the only reason we checked out was that the room was not acceptable. This type of customer care is entirely unacceptable. The nice folks at Best Western customer service tried to help and seemed quite astonished at the attitude presented by management.

  We were pretty tired after our 3rd day of driving the mother road from Arizona and ended up here and what a cool place the manager was awesome the room was the best we stayed at on this trip. We highly recommend this hotel.

  Their hearty breakfast buffet as advertised in their brochure in the room was non-existent. Office area was locked up and nothing setup for breakfast when we showed up for breakfast after 6:00. Not cool. Went back to the room and re-read the brochure since it was Sunday we thought maybe they didn't serve breakfast, but nope...said "served everyday." Ummmm nope!! Couldn't even get our receipt because the doors were locked.
