Elsa at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal! Fantastic personality! Friendly, helpful, and always smiling! The room was clean, spacious, newly renovated, and comfortable! I will definitely return!
Staff was friendly and I don’t like leaving bad reviews but the room smelled heavily like an ash tray. Our sheets were stained and had small holes in them and there was very visible mold in the bathroom. I’m a none confrontational person, we were exhausted from traveling 17 hours and just needed the room to sleep for the night so I didn’t request a different room but for $120 I’m dissatisfied and definitely expected better.
Reservations were made for two rooms at this hotel early in the morning prior to a ten+ hour drive. After being on the road for all that time, we were beyond ready for some shuteye, knowing we would again be getting back on the road the following day for another 8-9 hours. We arrived around 10:00 pm and went inside to check in. For starters, the guy at the desk had a foreign accent and was very difficult to understand. He eventually revealed to us that he didn’t have a room for pets. (We have a chihuahua that travels with us often.) He had a regular room, but would be unable to accommodate our dog. Again, we made the reservations many hours before, making sure to reserve a pet friendly room. Despite that, he insisted he had no room for us. We asked to speak with a manager, but apparently one wasn’t there, despite there being a manager on duty sign on the wall with a name listed. The attendant had no care whatsoever of the predicament he put us in. We were in an unfamiliar place, far from home, late at night, very tired, and forced to find a new place to stay. Very disappointing!
Expensive hotel and the price doesn’t reflect quality of service. We areived late ~2 am and there was no option to use Expedia/Booking.com for reservation already as it was past midnight. So the price was 150 instead 110 online. The room was smelly - cigarettes (we took non-smoking room), nasty chemical smell everywhere which was driving me crazy all night, and breakfast included 6-9am, so if you areived late and want to check out closer to 11, you skipping the breakfast completely despite paying for that. Complete disaster for such a price, do not recommend.
The stay was great. If you have dogs they do charge a $20 fee for each dog that stays in the room with you and if you don’t pay the fee and they find out you have a dog they will charge you $250. Even if they are service dogs. They will tell you that there is no charge for the service dogs
but charge you a $50 deposit. Other than that the rooms are awesome and they provide a nice body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and lotion. The beds are very nice! The service needs work tho, they can be rude, especially the breakfast lady. She will treat you like you’re stupid.
