  Our first room had mold or some other environmental issue that caused me to have immediate breathing problem. The front desk area had poor ventilation or AC and it looked tough for the workers. Second room better and front desk person was really nice about my concern. Substantial construction late July 2026 surrounding hotel making it very difficult to access. You need to drive through the Menards parking lot and GPS wasn’t able to re route us correctly. I would say that the condition was poorer compared to most best westerns. Does have coin laundry which is nice and also has vending machines. Convenient access to target and wal mart. Breakfast was alright with a protein option, yogurt, cereal, bagels, coffee machine. Breakfast area was ok for sitting down with a family in the morning. I contacted best western in their survey and they did reach out and were very helpful and friendly and did state that they were going to go through the first room we were assigned and address the issue. They seemed to care more than I expected them to

  Made online reservation when i arrived costs exceeded what I expected. I chose to leave and find a more reasonable rate. They did not take the charge off my bank account. Trying to get ahold of someone to take care of this was near impossible. Why can’t hotel rates stay at a reasonable rate year round?

  We stayed at this hotel June 18 through June 20. Would not recommend. Our room smelled like smoke. There was poop in the toilet. We had called ahead of time to make sure the hot tub was working. They said yes but when we got there it was cold like the swimming pool. Tried to ask the front desk regarding hot tub. One guy said it wouldn't be fixed til June 24th, another person by the pool said they were fixing it on the 21st. Asked the second day we were there and they said they were just plugging it in and should be warm this evening. It wasn't. Pool area was very dirty. Would never stay at this hotel again. Online pictures do not do it justice. Super run down. I tried to contact manager regarding this but they were never there and never returned my phone call.

  It is impossible to reach this hotel by phone. And if it's the weekend, none of your emails will be returned. And if you try to communicate through the text messages that they initiated on the weekend, you will not get a response. Completely impossible to reach on weekends.
