  Solid, average stay — matches expectations for the price The BW Plus in Coldwater is a perfectly decent place to stay if you know what to expect. It delivers exactly what you’d look for in a ~$100 hotel. The Good: The parking lot is well-lit and feels safe at night. The free breakfast is definitely above average compared to similar mid-tier hotels, and having a pool on-site is a nice plus. Whenever any minor issues arose, the staff addressed and resolved them quickly. The Reality: It’s an okay, straightforward stay without fancy frills. If you are looking for a reasonable, clean, and reliable option in the area, this spot gets the job done—just keep your budget and expectations in check.

  My husband and I wanted a night away from our kids, "date night", and after eating at Bills Steakhouse in Bronson. This hotel was closest to the restaurant, so we booked it. Very difficult to find the driveway. The sign is miniature in comparison to the fast food restaurants that you have to drive through to get to the hotel. Not properly lit up or signed well. The service desk associate was kind. He price matched a room from an online price. Great. $175 dollars-still wayyyyy too expensive for what they have to offer. They do have hotel rooms with hot tubs in the rooms, (we wanted one) but the hot tubs don't work. Weird. You can book a room with the hot tub, but can't use them. Our room was on the third floor. 322. The hallways smell of a very strong cologne-ish odor. Not pleasant. The rooms smell like molded carpet. Definitely trying to cover up odors with whatever spray they were using in the halls. A King bed in our room-"kind of"-seemed more like a Queen bed. Immediately upon entrance of the room, the stool to put your suitcases on-disgusting and filthy, ripped. Old. The carpet was filthy, stains everywhere. The pillows were standard size (not king) and broken down. Bed was not comfortable. Television is through a cable box. Very old. Only two towels in the bathroom. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower like most updated hotels. Still using an old citrus shampoo and body wash in miniature bottles that aren't enough to wash one persons entire body with. Streaming is not available on the TV. No Netflix or any options. The TV stand was beat up too. Marks all over it. The hot tub and the pool are cloudy and have a ring around them from not being cleaned properly. We wouldn't even get in them. The breakfast was disgusting, cold and not allergy friendly. The shower was dirty. The shower curtain was ripped completely through every hole of the top of the curtain around the bar to hold the curtain up. Shower curtain was old and discolored. Bathroom counters were stained. Mirrors had marks all over them. Paint was chipping everywhere. Door to the room looked like it had been kicked in before. Locks on the doors were broken. It was just not a good experience. We will not stay here ever again.

  We only stayed one night after a wedding. The room was clean and the breakfast looked and smelled good but we didn't stay for it. Pool looked big and nice also

  This place was filthy, run down and stinky. As soon as we walked in to our room, it stunk like a hookah bar. Carpet was filthy, debris along the floor boards, I saw what looked like a dog had bloody scoots on the rug. A hair was in the sink. We asked for another room but wanted to check it out 1st, that one was even WORSE. The breakfast was something left to be desired. It looked as if homeless people were using the gazebo in the back of the hotel, and they even were grilling. A rock was propping the back door open so they could use the bathrooms. The ice maker was leaking into the floor in the main hall. I would suggest anywhere else, but here. Definitely not a PLUS hotel.

  Believe me when I say to believe the reviews about the bugs!! Travelled for work and my boss booked this hotel. We read reviews and were skeptical. We asked to see the rooms before bringing any stuff inside. Thankfully we did. One room had a large dead bug on the desk. Hair all over the bed as well as stains all over the sheets. The second room there was an empty bug bomb fogger can left behind. Dead bed bugs on the floor as well as other dead bugs. Roach traps on the floor behind the entertainment stand. We don’t even bother checking the third room! The lady at the front desk was very kind about the whole situation. Needless to say we did not stay here and found a room somewhere else.
