  We used the Best Western Westminster as our home base for our wedding weekend in May 2026 and had a great experience. We were able to communicate clearly with management in advance, and rooms were a fair price. Our guests were able to book a room up until just a few weeks in advance. As a couple getting married in Carroll County, there were not an abundant options of hotels in the area - but it didn't matter because the Best Western fit all of our needs. It was just 15 minutes from our venue. We separately booked their conference building next door for our after party, and it worked out perfectly both in terms of space we needed and convenience in everyone being able to walk back to their rooms afterwards. It really accomplished everything we needed from our wedding hotels. Would definitely stay again next time we're in the Westminster area!

  Stay away unless you want to be falsely charged. We stayed for a few days in March for a wedding and we are smokers. Not one time did we smoke in the room and are being charged $300. extra. We have tried to speak to someone there and guess what, no one answers the phone. Thru emails, the only explanation we get is that we smoked in the room. We have asked for proof and no response. I guess it is our word against theirs, but for a $300 charge, they need to show proof. You would think for good customer service, they would try to speak to us to get this resolved, but we are going on several weeks without getting any resolution.
