  Great hotel to stay at! I had a comfortable stay! Room was nice and clean! I would recommend this hotel to anyone👌🏾👍🏾!

  The front desk clerk was super friendly upon our arrival. The room was not up to standard. The filter needed to be changed, the room had a funny smell, the floors were not clean with visible stains, and the tub was awful!! I would give this hotel 2 stars, and thats only for the front desk clerk positive and friendly customer service!

  1st: entrance was hard to see and too easy to pass up. 2nd: the room was nice, bathroom is small. Had one dead little bug but nothing to fuss at. 3rd: the breakfast wasn't great. The eggs were room temp. The bacon, you had to reheat. My mom said she got there 5 minutes before 6 and everything was already out and people were eating. Though I did have the muffin and it was pretty good.

  I have been to many hotels, and I have never had such a great experience as i did with this hotel and the entire staff.. they went out of their way to see they my family and I were comfortable and happy.. I will continue to come here. They are like family to us

  DO NOT STAY, IF YOU HAVE PETS I booked a stay online to visit family. They clearly stated on the website that they were pet friendly. Nothing online mentioned a pet deposit. When we arrive after traveling several hours we are told there would be a charge for the pets but it would get refunded after our stay so as no damage. For being a pet friendly hotel they found every way to make us uncomfortable about us having pets. I am a responsible owner and picked up after my pets. I made sure there was no trace of their presence in my room or on their grounds. We get back home and I called BWVilleplatte about my deposit refund and I was assured by a lady there I would get it back with in two weeks. Still don’t have it. Same charge no refund. Called today and spoke with the Male and he tells me that I got it back. He attempts to gaslight me that I received my deposit back, that it was a pet fee and there for non-refundable. I was scammed out of money that was hoping to use for trip expenses. $100 may not mean much to some people but that money is a big deal to me. The ratings in this place are highly accurate if it’s wasn’t for the perfect location near my family’s property I would have looked at a different hotel. I knew I was in for something horrible when the website advertised a pool and the pool is filled in with some sort of sediment. No pool. They claimed we’re working on it, but that sediment had grass/weeds growing in it. What they were working on was some sort of green house structure that had a questionable odor, the staff liked to hide out there at all hours of the day. The only good thing about this place was the beds. There were comfy. Although, the bathrooms had some remodeling, the tubs/shower was elevated and made it very sketchy to step in and out. Felt like I was going to fall out every time. Their complementary breakfast had stale cereal, low quality fruit, milk expired, and low supply. The juice and waffle maker were the only decent options. There was a construction crew that was staying as well. It seemed they catered more to that crew than to the rest of their customers. I tried to reason with the Male about their policies and proper training of his staff so as to not incite these similar problems in the future but he kept talking over me. He didn’t care about my experience. He got my money and was going to do everything necessary to keep it. I hope they see this review. You sir are heartless and absurd. Terrible management. This location does NOT live up to the hype. Will not stay here ever again or do business with Best Western unless reviews are 4 stars and Higher with glowing recent reviews.
