  I was in the lobby checking in as the lady was running my card I looked at the reviews on the motel and saw bedbug pictures and cock roaches so I told her I did not want to stay there she already ran my card and charged for the room. I did not go into any rooms I haven't left the lobby yet and she told me she was too new only Ben there a few days and could not do a refund. So I was told to call later and talk to the manager and I called later and the manager is nowhere to be found. I called the next day and no manager. I would like to have my money back since I did not even walk in a room.....

  Terrible!!! 😞 I stayed one night, and was booked for two nights. Upon check in, I had to pay the $50 deposit (for incidentals) - I did not use/charge a penny to the room. The next morning, I extended my stay through Priceline, they insisted I check out, even though I was staying a second night. A few hours later, I came back from working to check in. The manager said I had to pay an ADDITIONAL $50 to check in. I told him I already paid the $50 when I checked in the night before and, did not charge a single $1 to my room and, had not been refunded the $50 yet. He literally argued with me for 20-30 minutes, saying he HAD TO collect another additional $50. I ended up paying in full for the room and, drove four hours home, no refund, just money that they kept. I travel every week, all over Kentucky……. DO NOT STAY HERE. The decor is from the 1980’s. Terrible customer service and, I am not a complainer.

  I’m a disabled veteran, I’m very disappointed of this hotel, And very disappointed in myself for not finding a different hotel! Bed stains , staff said couldn’t, wouldn’t change!!?? Had several constant problems with keys. Bad odor Bad experience

  Ok if you are in a budget, but maintenance and upkeep could be improved. Examples lid on toilet didn't fit and was made for a different toilet. Ice machine on first floor was broken which by itself isn't much but the coffee machine at breakfast was also broken. Pattern of broken things.

  Our nights here were comfortable and the amenities were great. Clean pool, clean rooms and common spaces. Ill definitely choose to stay in Shelbyville again
