  This hotel is not clean, and many of the rooms have visible signs or smells of mold/mildew. The room was not fully cleaned (lots of dust), and breakfast was not appetizing at all. The staff was friendly, but overall this is not a well maintained motel.

  Friendly, helpful staff. Bold local raccoons. Slightly dated, but well kept rooms. Other than the hair in the shower, my room was decently clean.

  Fui con las expectativas un poco bajas, por los comentarios que había leído, y para mi sopresa me encontré con muy buenas instalaciones, personal amable, un desayuno que suma, y muy buena ubicación.   This was the worst hotel experience of my life as a frequent traveler and someone who worked in the hotel industry for several years. The room smelled heavily of mildew and was damp. Certainly do not stay here if you have a lung condition or mold allergy. Metal objects in the room were rusted and the paint was bubbling off the walls. I found visible mold growing on a lampshade. I spoke with the counter worker and his immediate response was that he wouldn’t issue a refund (I hadn’t asked for that at the time) and that he could change my room. The second room was no better. On top of the mildew, the cleanliness was not great. The worker asked me “what is mold” while standing in front of the mold-riddled lampshade and said the odor was “room freshener”. I’m including some photos on this review. Do not believe the pictures they post. The desk worker stated I could speak with a manager the next day but it wasn’t worth it after he had brought up not being able to refund the next two nights multiple times. Very unprofessional. I couldn’t stomach the idea of eating there so I cannot speak on the breakfast. I ended up staying at the Fairfield Inn the last two nights of my business trip and it was much better. This is the worst Best Western I’ve been to and the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Unprofessional, disgusting, and unsafe.

  We had a room reserved thru my insurance company because we had a tornado go thru Gary Indiana and we couldn’t stay at home . The hotel had Noticeably dirty steps in back of hotel. Our room was damp and cold when we checked in Temp was in 66 . We checked in on Aug 20 and checked out Aug 21. We let management know that fridge did not work. They did not come to room to check that complaint that night . My wife turned the Thermostat up in fridge, hoping that would make a difference. We got up next day and saw ants and bugs in room . The fridge spoiled our food . We checked out and let management know about room condition. We asked for reimbursement of food cost. We have yet received Compensation or spoke to a manager since that date . When we have called over 5 times, they say we must speak to a manager . They told us we would have to speak to a manager about getting compensation . This was on the 21st of August. This review was done on 30th of August, and we still haven’t spoke to a manager. That’s is why I am writing this review. I would not recommend this hotel.
