  Everything was going great until around 10 pm when the front desk lady called and woke my husband and I up asking if we had seen some dog that a guest lost. I don’t think I will return

  Stayed for one night during a power outage, everything went well. Looking forward to a nice breakfast before we depart. Became a rewards member and would stay again!

  We stayed three nights while visiting our son in Rockford. Best Western has a very friendly military veterans rate, and this hotel was AWESOME! Honestly, I had some concerns when I booked it, as the location is out of the way, with not a lot around it, and very close to the truck stop. There is nothing of note within walking distance, and the closest sit down food is about a mile to the west. The location turned out to be just fine, if you do not mind a quick drive North or west to get what you need. That being said, the whole place is immaculately clean. Grounds are freshly mowed. Front bench was freshly painted during our stay. Nicely landscaped with nice flowers on the rear side of the hotel. Every single window is spotlessly clean, and every inch is freshly vacuumed. We had light housekeeping each day of our stay without having to request it. It was very nice... Noise was not a concern. Of course, you hear it during the day, but we had a third floor room front, facing the truck stop, and had no issue with noise after 8 pm. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. This is a really good Best Western... They did a great job, and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip down!

  No complaints about the location itself. Clean rooms. Nice pool. But no turkey sausage. They do not consider those who do not eat pork. So no sausage for breakfast if you don't enjoy a pork sausage.

  Was told room was on 4th floor & both elevators broken! Traveling with family & my 83 year old mother, this was not an acceptable option. Reassigned a room in 2nd floor but had to come back later after housekeeping. This was well past check in time. Was told pool also not open. This room was pre-paid non-refundable. For a final insult to injury, they charged my card again for the room instead of just the refundable Incidental fee. We were almost $500 short while traveling due to their incompetence.
