  This place isn’t the worst but it’s not the best. I think it needs a major renovation and it would be great! My biggest complaint is the noise factor. If a person upstairs takes a shower or runs water,it was EXTREMELY LOUD. Like I couldn’t hear the tv at all and it made it hard to sleep. I could also hear every foot step. The room had a bit of a mildew smell and the shower curtain needs replaced. You need an elevator,it’s not accessible in the least and excludes the disabled and elderly. The jacuzzi downstairs never got hot and the pool needs cleaned. It literally looks like it’s falling apart inside. The mattress was very stiff and uncomfortable as well.

  Hotel is located close to the historic downtown area. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Though the room could use a little updating, it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

  We tried this hotel on our trip to Galena. Disappointed that there is no elevator at the Galena location. Can't do stairs to well because of health reasons. Was not disclosed on the website and found out when we checked it. We won't be staying here again on our next trip. Sorry
