  TRUCK PARKING !! #TRUCK PARKING !! - * Actually surprised to see a clean room just a few minutes away from the City and Airport 🛫... Free breakfast and coffee. Staff is also friendly . Overall great place to stop by if you are passing through.. which Is basically my life.. lol 😆

  Are you looking for a truly forgettable hotel stay? One guaranteed to put a straight face on your face? Did you spend an entire day at various airports and still get stuck at Midway overnight? Well make your way over to the Best Western Plus. From the moment you walk in from the truck stop-esque parking lot, a brusque yet efficient receptionist may or may not greet you, depending on whether or not they're scrolling on their phone. From there, make your way up to your room in an elevator powered by snails - energy efficient! An appointed room awaits with countable features like a bed, shower, and toilet. A well-positioned A/C unit directs all the cold air within the curtains to ensure the curtains stay nice and cool all night. The nice-smelling body wash reminded me that I am still human and haven't yet passed into some sort of purgatory/limbo state of existence. After settling in for a night's sleep, I awakened feeling like it was the next morning, because it was. Made my way downstairs for one of the hotel breakfasts I've ever had. I could believe the variety of carbohydrates on offer - cereal (no milk), make-your-own waffles, toast, muffins, and more. After checking out, I felt unready to take on the day, but sadly I still had to. Overall, I can recommend this hotel enough - truly many of a kind and a stay I'll remember for hours to come.

  The hotel is in a great location. It is close to restaurants, Walmart, Target, and within 1/2 hour to the airport. The rooms and hotel is outdated but functional. The staff is pleasant and professional. They offer free breakfast with a good of variety of options however there is limited seating and it gets very hot in the lobby during this time. Almost unbearable at times. The elevator needs some TLC and is slow during busy times of the day. Other than that, I would consider staying here again.

  No room service because they are “going eco-friendly due to COVID,” even after we asked for our room to be cleaned. We had to take our own trash out. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were low, and one ran out completely. The AC is incredibly loud and sounds like it’s about to break every time it’s turned on. The waffle machine was out of batter at breakfast. We asked for more and were told they didn’t have any. About 10 minutes later, they brought out a new bag of batter and refilled the machine. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work. There was trash under the bed that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The front desk is often unattended, and there isn’t even a bell to get someone’s attention. You have to call out and hope someone comes from the back.

  Writing this at midnight, my ac has shut off just like it did twice today when the power went down, currently in the middle of a heat wave and I personally think this is unacceptable. I don’t give many below 3 star reviews but this hotel for the price is pretty disappointing, I’m being generous with the rating because the location is pretty ok for if you want to drive to Chicago to explore (then again the location would be bad if you don’t have a car and rely on Ubers, that would be expensive).
