  This is a 3-star or 3.5-star hotel. The rooms are small and somewhat dark with dated furniture and bedding. We stayed at Oak Grove Inn & Suites in NE Louisiana the next few nights and it was a much bigger room with better furnishings. PROS: () The bathtub, sink, vanity, and toilet seemed to be a recent update, which was nice. () Location: We needed the location for a nearby family wedding. () Staff was friendly and very accommodating when family came to the lobby from the next-door hotel for a late-night visit. () Pool: Pool was in service after about 10 or 11 am every day. The pool tech adds chemicals at 6 am or so, which closes the pool for a few hours. We swam! The water was still cool on June 7th, so I can understand the pool being closed in April, as others stated. CONS: () Dated furnishings and bedding () The pillows were hard rounded-edge rectangles of foam. (Our next hotel had same, so I guess this is the new way to save $2 on each pillow.) () TV was more difficult to use than it should be. We had to watch whatever happened to come on! This hotel and our room was adequate for our visit but nothing special.

  Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is terrible, the bed and pillows suck, the TV cuts off at 9pm and I can hear the next rooms toliet flushing.

  We like Best Western Plus Parkway Hotel. Been staying here a few times and never disappointed. Friendly staff. Rooms emaculate. Love their coffee machine in the foyer.

  Very old and dated property. There are plenty of other better options nearby to stay at. Key cards never worked, they have an old key card system apparently waiting to get upgraded. TV remote was very confusing just for simple browsing. The room light was really bad. The pool was closed, the breakfast room is tiny and had to wait for more food to come out. Move along and find another property, you will be happy you did.
