  I make the reservations for a small construction company for our out of town projects. We make all reservations under the owner's name and use the points to save money on future reservations. This works for Marriott, IHG, Hilton and has always worked for Best Western. After making the reservation, I called the front desk explained we were using points, and authorized them to use the company visa for incidentals. I was sent an authorization form, which I filled out and returned. The employee's names were added to the reservation. The front desk employee told me were were all set for them to check in. It was explained that the two employees would be checking in, not the owner. I was told that would be fine. At 5pm I get a call that Nay Nieves, "front desk manager" won't let them check in. She was curt and not helpful. She said the owner had to be there for the points to be used. I explained the auth form, earlier conversation and the fact that their names were added to the reservation. She said it didn't matter and the person I spoke to was not there. I asked if it would work if I had the owner call her directly. She said no. The Best Western Rewards Customer Service Rep was on the phone and asked her to see if the general manager would do an override. She said the manager wasn't there and she couldn't contact him/her. Since this was a mistake on the hotel's part, they should have made an exception and let our guys check in. This hotel is not well managed. The employees are not properly trained. Nay Nieves was rude. Our guys were slightly relieved, as they said the property was not well kept. This is coming from tired construction guys who are not picky. We will not use this property anymore. We will not use any Best Western anymore.

  Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht auf unserer Rundreise und es war alles vorhanden. Parkplatz, Frühstück und sogar ein Pool. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber. Das einzige was dringend ausgetauscht werden sollte ist die viel zu laute Klimaanlage. Service super freundlich!

  The hotel is NOT 4.3 worthy, it should be 1 the most! The rooms smells awful and the noise that the a/c does didn’t let us sleep the entire night! We went to the front desk to ask for a room replacement and got rejected so the night was horrible. I would NEVER return to this hotel.

  Well you would almost think on the " Billionaire Coast " of Florida that things would pretty much be perfect and this hotel was really close however it only takes one person as we all know. And the problem is probably mine for being English not speaking Spanish. This hotel sits perfectly off the interstate and is a very nice hotel You actually would expect I think to pay more than you do from the way it looks. The rooms were very nice The problem was a breakfast employee. I shrugged it off the first day however the second day while breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and what is served varies every day I must say and all my stays when I travel places here I could get no help or satisfaction. With almost an hour still to go My grandson wanted a bowl of their cereal and I figured a nice glass of milk with my sweet bun cinnamon roll would have been very good not wanting pancakes or waffles for the second day. After waiting a while and noticing that the lady wiping towels and talking to all the Spanish people wasn't paying attention. So I asked her if she would fill the milk she smiled nodded and said yes I went and sat down with my grandson and his dry bowl of cereal and we waited and watched while she went into the back room and came out with a bag of apple juice put apple juice in turned around and before she got to the milk machine some lady asked her for something and she disappeared again. Then we notice she's walking in the hallway carrying a package of bananas in both hands and walks over to a table and let's the lady take the bananas she wants and then she goes and puts them on the counter where others can get some. And then turns around and starts wiping tables again then she starts talking to an individual at this time we're over 20 minutes so I get up and I walk over to her with my phone and she's having a Spanish conversation with a Spanish man and I say to her why did you not get my milk. Again this time she smiles and says thank you now I've never known the translator on my phone to be wrong so I went and had a conversation with the gentleman at the front desk and left! Because the three of us were on a time schedule I don't generally spend an hour having breakfast when it's something usually light. So that's all I have to say I hope the majority don't find this trivial because especially if you're working in the hospitality industry for a hotel that I am sure is extremely busy not only with all classes of Americans but also Europeans and more considering this area caters to the ultra-rich. I won't stop again because there is another Best Western right down the road
