Was only here for conference however they had ample coffee and bathrooms nice clean. Will check out the hotel next time im in Gainesville
I have been staying here several nights a week since April. The staff in every single area of the hotel has been super professional, nice, and quick to accommodate any need or request—a rare find. The front desk staff has been awesome, especially Bob in the early morning hours and the several others I see upon check-in (sorry guys, I am bad with names!).
I always check in on the app on Sunday night for a Monday arrival, and my key is always ready without delay. They have also courteously handled my text requests for the same room (370). This room, in this particular area of the hotel, has been key for me. It features a great working fridge, a microwave, a couch with a king bed, and hot water that heats up quickly. Most of all, it is incredibly quiet. I have never once been disturbed by noise inside or outside the hotel. One downside for me is the air conditioning unit, which cycles on and off and is louder than I am used to. To handle this, I simply cool the room down before I go to sleep and set the temperature just warm enough that it doesn’t turn on so often during the night. Perfect!
The room is a little dated but everything is exceptionally clean, which is my number one priority (I do bring my own pillow).
I have also eaten at the restaurant several times and have ordered room service. The food is great for burgers and casual meals, and the restaurant staff is very nice and accommodating.
Thanks to these stays, I have now earned Diamond Status at Best Western. I generally do not look at Best Western—I am not sure why, as I usually stick to Residence Inn or Marriott—but I will definitely be looking at Best Western properties in the future. I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you to the entire staff. You have made a difficult few months much easier!
The rooms are very very outdated. Ac didn't work well in our room. Beds are meh. But the hotel itself is beautiful. The bar next door is great.

We stayed here for one night only while traveling for a funeral. We had two goals: don’t spend a ton and get a good night sleep.
We got so much more!
The hotel does have a resort feel. We would 100% stay again.
Cons:
1. AC in our room was just OK.
2. The breakfast had no fruit. No apples. No bananas. No oranges. Zero fruit. This is such a basic staple that it is a miss.
3. The gym equipment was old and there was a lack of Matt’s and towels.
The pros:
1. All staff members were so friendly and helpful
2. Breakfast did have made to order DELICIOUS omlettes.
3. The gym has some machines, 2 treadmills, and some hand weights. It does the trick and is better than no gym.
4. The onsite restaurant is a hidden gem. We had 2 dinners, 2 drinks each, and left a genuine tip and paid about $70. Truly fair pricing. All without leaving out property.
Our stay was so great!

Our stay was great! From breakfast to the pool to the staff, everything was on point! Upon arriving home, I realized we left my daughter’s softball uniform in a grocery bag in our room. One of the housekeepers retrieved it (she was so kind on the phone) and then I was passed on to Porsche Pickett in the front office. She was PHENOMENAL…Upbeat, solution-focused, professional, compassionate, willing to do whatever it took to get my package to me. After several phone calls and emails, my package was on the way. So thankful for her!
